WALMART sorrento cheese deal possible MM????

I really hope I did this right....

I found a MIR peelie on sorrento string cheese at Walmart for $5.00 with the purchase on any 2 packages of sorrento snack cheese 8oz or larger, limit 5 rebates per household. This offer expires9-30-10!!!

To sweeten the deal, use the 3.00 off any 2 stringsters or sticksters snack chese 8oz or larger (5/2 SS x7/31/10)

The 24 oz pkg that these were on was 5.xx, I believe there were also packages for 2.98, so... 5.96-3= 2.96 OOP, with 5.00 Rebate = 2.04 MM!!

I'm headed to WM later, I will try to remember to get prices and post them. HTH

I just got home from a Looooonnnnnggg night of deal going with 3 kiddos in tow! Haha NEVER again. Anyhow, I spent 15mins looking over the string cheese section of my Walmart & only ones I found were priced 4.88(being only colby jack)-5.98? I looked at the tags & the only other one that "might" be Sorrento is the Mickey Mouse cheese( I'm 99% sure they are not though)?

The Q I got in my paper was $2/1 & the MIR was on all the bags I found. HTH

I'm so glad I could finally help others here and post a good deal!!!

For those trying to find the Sorrento packages, they are not the Mickey mouse ones, they are Dark blue on the top and bottom of the packages, with a piece of string cheese as a character on the front. It has Sorrento Stringsters accross the top in a yellow bubble.... Hope that helps.

And I did price check the smaller cheese, it was 3.56, not as good as I had hoped, but still free cheese!!

Has anyone found these cheaper, or in smaller packages anywhere?? The coupon and the MIR say you can use them on the 8oz pkgs, the smallest I see is the 12 oz for 3.56.

the smallest ones at my WM are 4.28, but my coupon was for 2.00/1, so it's still a great deal. My kids LOVE string cheese!

You can also do this at Harris Teeter, they have the peelies and cheese there.

There were also $2/1 peelies a while back, not sure if expired though...
