Walmart ~ Vent: Need help dealing with an urgent Walmart issue

I don't have a job, don't draw free food or food stamps, don't draw disability or any other form of welfare or public assistance. NO ONE should care what we "buy" with our overage. I make less than $3,000.00 a year. Yep, you read that right $3,000.00 and when there is a legitimate way to get groceries and other things we need, you bet I am on it. All the Wal Marts KNOW what I do and KNOW it is perfectly legal. In fact they TELL me so that they ALWAYS get reimbursed for my coupons and that I am ONE OF THEIR BEST CUSTOMERS and I give the employees products too. When my favorite cashier got sick I sent her a HUGE box of goodies- HBA- food, pajamas, etc. I truly care about people and know it is legal, moral and in a tough economy the right thing to do. if you even think about how much advertising I do for Wal Mart- I SHOULD be employed there.

We don't know Knox's or any other companies motives for putting out this coupon year after year. Believe me- they are smarter than ALL of us put together. Why do some people think they are "pulling the wool over Knox's eyes" when THEY are the ones who put out the coupon.

OP- don't feel bad, just go to another store.

Personally I go with one of OP's last comments.

Stop shopping at Walmart and vow never to return.

But, then again I did that. Since couponing I've ONLY walked in to buy Huggies Pull Up Wipes. And that has been 2 times. Walmart is hardcore couponer unfriendly all around. But, they do that to prevent themselves from being taken advantage of by scammers who copy coupons/or use them on totally different products then intended for. Though I don't blame them, I just don't care for the guilty until proven innocent EVERYTIME I walk in the store.

But, OP were you seriously going to carry that much stuff onto a bus to go home????? Hats off to you. I would be more nervous somebody would rob me (depending on what you got).

I rarely can ever use coupons for overage @ Walmart. Heck I'm lucky if i can get my item(s) free w/ coupons. ...Like the any Kotex product coupon froma homemailer. They would not let me use it on the $1 liners because it would be free.:shrug7:

My Wal-Mart will not even let me get the items free. Much less overage. *sigh*

If anyone does have an over-stock of Knox gelatin, check with your local college's photography department. When I was getting my photo degree, one of my classes had a project that we did and we had to buy a bunch of gelatin for the project- developing special film required it.

probably after u left the store manager let loss and prevention know about u and the csm's so the next time u go there dont be surprised if there is a loss and prevention person following u around and the store manager might even come up when u check out and watch the order to make sure it is ok because u just caused urself some trouble by trying to use that many coupons in one order and if u have that many coupons if they dont expire for a while spread them out only use a couple of them a day or spread out and go to different cashiers for each trip if u can

This is actually not true, although it is a common misconception among couponers. The stores do NOT get reimbursed for coupon value + .08. That .08 gets paid to a coupon clearing house that then processes the coupons and sends them on to the mfrs for reimbursement. So yes, the stores get full face value back but they aren't making an 8 cent profit off of every coupon you use.
