Walmart ~ Vent: Need help dealing with an urgent Walmart issue

My advice to you is to try another cashier, maybe even at a different store. I would only use maybe 10- 12 at a time tops. It's always hit or miss at WalMart, you win some, you lose some.

This is how I have been doing my trips I grab a 12 pk of knox and figure out what I am getting in that transaction. Figure out how much overage is and how much I will be spending. So far I have had really good luck. No need for a supervisor approval does take a bit longer to do many trips but well worth it when you walk away with the stuff you want.
Although the other day I was pressed for time I was almost in a panick I took 3 ( cases 12 pks each) of knox and 36 coupons my subtotal was $148.49 after coupons my total was $5.57. I was exteemly panicking inside my guy cashier could see I was extremly paniky I madeo out I was worried I wouldn'r make it in home in time for my sons bus. He did need an supervisor approval but told her she needed to make it snapy I had to hurry home to get my son off the bus. I won't use that many again in one trip. But I did feel really good getting all my stuff and on my way with no issues. Good luck to you today. I know I the feeling of spending the $$ for the coupons and not being able to use them I made some last minute trades because I am so hooked on the knox deals. I hope they get to me before they expire. Or I will to be out the $$ for the coupons :(

Being out of the money on coupons is the whole problem. I spent $56 dollars on all of these.

I did pull off 50 before...brought DH with me for the battle...but not my normal walmart.

My reg walmart i've been able to do 3 at the time with no problems...but this week....it appears that the local walmart is now writing up the employees if they take them. At that point...I just traded the rest I had...because i'm not willing to let the cashiers who I appreciate...get written up because of me. Doesn't matter what corporate says...they just are not going to handle the day to day stuff like that.

I wondered that too, but after re-reading it I think what she meant by 3 boxes, was actually 3 cases of 12 in a case? But even still THAT"S bold LOL. Nothing like waving a surrender flag as soon as you hit the checkout !

When I have a really hot coupon, I use only a few at a time. That way red flags aren't raised and it doesn't call attention to myself.

I have seen so much controversy surrounding that coupon that I have deliberately avoided it. I personally feel that it's misuse to use it for the cooking gelatin. But how someone else uses it is their own business.

And anyhow, what would you do with 80 boxes of Knox gelatin? :shrug7: I don't mind getting large quantities of stuff to donate, but I don't know where that could be donated to, and I wouldn't be able to use it up in my lifetime!

That knox trip was priceless. One Cashier...nice cashier happy to oblige. Her friend cashier laughing his a$$ off that we were going to pull it off...and a manager shut down by mine and DH insistence that you are going to take these.
