they dont throw out the clearanced holiday stuff it gets sent back to the warehouse that it came from usually they just save the toys and stuff for next year and send it back to the store at easter or whatever holiday item it was when they put out the holiday stuff except for the candy they basically do this every year i think the only thing they cant do again is the stuff that has the year on it like the 2010 vday bears i think on those things they end up donating them to charities or shelters
