I think there is a limit of 6 times per year that you can return without a receipt.

Your boyfriend is buying you make up? hmm....
You might want to call your store first. My store will not take back any HBA product without the receipt because of so many fraudulent returns where people are stealing them and returning them or buying them at other places and returning them to Walmart (which is a HUGE no-no).

Usually anything over $10 requires a valid pic. id. I think you are only allowed 3 of these in a six month period.

Yep same here.
Personally, Id suck it up and keep them and just ask him not to buy anything else for you.
Its sure to look fishy if you take back a bunch of hba items even if you did nothing wrong its going to look bad. And Ill take a few extras hba items laying around the house over getting stamped as a crook every time I walked in there anyday.

My store won't allow returns without a receipt for store credit. They will allow an exchange, from the same department only.
Maybe.
Is there anything you can exchange to the brand that you like?
They will most likely give you store credit.
Could you just sell it on craig's list?
The other thing to remember...is they do keep track of who is bringing stuff back....so some cheap shampoo might not be worth getting on there suspicious list. Then when you really need to exchange something more important...they may not let you.
