WalMart ~ Black Friday 2009 ~ WalMart.com?
Are most of the black friday deals available on walmart.com? Last year I sent DH to the store because we wanted one of the power wheels for DS. This year I am more interested in some of the smaller items (coats for myself and the kids, a doll for DD, etc.) and I'm not sure whether it's worth battling the crowds and lines. Would I be able to get them online? And can you do site to store for smaller items like that? (And can you do site to store on black friday period?) TIA!!!

Re: WalMart.com?
I was wondering the same. I want to get some of the vsmile stuff for the kids. I saw they put the pricing online for the vmotion game system already. So I'm guessing that the prices online will be similar.
I'm just really wondering about shipping...trying to figure out if it's worth getting out of bed at 4 or having coffee and using the computer
.

Re: WalMart.com?
I would love to know this, too. If I can do site-to-store and online prices are going to be the same, I won't even bother heading out to the store. No need to risk getting run down! :hectic1:

Re: WalMart.com?
I guess I'm leaning toward just braving it and going to the store. I'd still love to know about shipping/site-to-store, though, because frankly I am a bit scared of WM on black Friday! LOL. But I really don't feel like paying shipping fees when Walmart is less than a mile from my house.

Re: WalMart.com?
From what I am reading........certain deals are already available on their site. The rest will be available online (bigger, higher priced items) I think after midnight.
For shipping......they have their 97 cent shpping specials for a lot of items. I saw the 32" tv for $248 on their site with 97 cent shipping. To me, I'll pay the 97 cents to be able to stay in my warm bed!!!

Re: WalMart.com?
So, Walmart is opening at midnight, so you can mosey around, but the sale prices don't kick in until 5am?

Re: WalMart.com?
yeah i woke before midnight to see if the product was avaliable it said not online it was gray i waited another 30 minutes to see if it would be posted and nothing so i went to bed and got up before 4:30 to see if it was at 5. in the place where there was no buy now there is a buy now and there all are gone. i wish they made more specific is to when the online sales started at 5 am like at the store or is it midnight or so other strange time so i could have been more prepared. i guess there is no more because the more expensive tv is still avalibale. That is really annoying.
