Walmart RED ALERT Buddy Bars

i couldn't find them at the Lacey, WA WM...looked in baby area and the hba.

Three of the WMs here (VA) got rid of the orange bar totally. When I asked the mgr why, he said "He was tired of all you couponers taking them all for free". When I asked why it bothered him since he was reimbursed by J&J for the coupon (plus .08 for the coupon) and it helped his store sales numbers that we were buying things at his store (they are rude and I never go inthere unless it is free or darn near close), he said he would rather his sales go down than have couponers get free stuff from him.

How's that for honest?? Stupid, but honest.

so i dont' really get this...is he jealous? why would he care if some people get awesome deals? is it "unfair" to others who just pay full price? isn't walmarts moto 'pay less, live better' or something like that...dont' they pride themselfs on great deals?

anyone who works as a store manager have any insight? i an truly curious. i'm a walgreens kinda girl..and my stores are only a little miffed if it take too long in line. cashiers are usually impressed with a good deal but nothing like this guy. :shrug7:

My walmart has not had them in a long time..I Freds dollar store use to have them but htey dont keep many on hand and they cost more than at walmart, i dont know if my wlagreens has them or not.. i would like to get a few more but I still have lots at this time for my twins and yes they are 3.....

yes some people are jealous of us getting good deals but yet they are to lazy to do it themslves..

For those of you that can't find them- Look on the last aisle over in cosmetics, if its laid out like my my store, the buddy bars shelf will be beside the cosmetic bags shelf. The area the buddy bars are in have the bubble bath, bath salts, kids shampoo, kids bubble bath, and such. MOST stores have the same "modulars" (shelf layouts), so its probably in the same area in your store.

If you can't find them, but it looks like there is a spot for them, ask the Dept. Manager. Our store has had trouble keeping them in. We get them often, its just as soon as we get them, they're gone. Most DMs don't mind ordering extract stock if they know you want it.

mine r over in the aisle with the biore and olay stuff next to the makeup and lotion they have moved the j and j bath gel over there too if u cant find them there try the infant section when i first read ur post i thought u were talking about the mrs freshleys buddy bars and i was thinking when did they start making coupons for those lol i guess the jokes on me

I don't know if this is happening at all stores, but mine store just redid the section the buddy bars are in, and they are no longer going to be carried. They clearanced the remaining ones to 50 cent. I ended up buying all they had (I think it was around 10). I didn't even use coupons. I didn't have any on me, and I was afraid if I waited they'd all be gone and we LOVE these things.

That's ok my wm will not take the j&j coupon on the buddy bars, I was out of luck anyway
