Walmart: Free Eggo & Fruit Deal

My Walmart ad for this week (8/2 to 8/8) is showing 10ct. Eggo Frozen Waffles on Rollback for $1.50 each. This is what I'm planning to do to get 10 boxes of Eggo Waffles and $10 worth of fruit for free:

Buy 10 boxes of Eggo Waffles @ $1.50 each = $15
Buy $10 worth of Fresh Fruit

*Use (5) $1/2 Kellogg's Eggo Frozen Products MQ (from 8/2/09 insert)

*Use (5) $2 off Fresh Fruit wyb 2 pkgs. Kellogg's Eggo Frozen Waffles MQ(from the Fuel for School! coupon pamphlet)

*Submit the $10 MIR for Kellogg's Fuel for School! Promotion (official form available in the 8/2/09 insert, the Fuel for School! coupon pamphlet, and Kellogg's website)

My FFS coupon book does NOT have a 2.00 off fresh fruit coupon.. darn it!

She is talking about fuel for school booklet found in many grocery chains that has a "buy two eggo get 2.00 off fresh fruit" coupon.

They are found in a side of a giant cardboard school bus display.

Be careful using these at WalMart...the $2 off fruit wyb eggo is coded as "$2 off 2 Eggo"...so if your using other $ off Eggo cpns, something is going to beep as though you are using too many cpns. We both know your not, but WalMart cashiers aren't the easiest to explain things to (lol understatement of the year!)

These types of coupons are always coded for the actual product, not the fruit, milk, bread... So you need to use your $ off coupons for the main item first. That way when the extra savings off other items coupon is scanned, it makes more sense as to why it beeped since you can buy any brand/type in the store and it's impossible to have the coupon coded for thousands of items. Cashiers usually understand why it beeped then.

You might want to check to see if these coupons say "Limit 1 per visit." The ones that I know of which expire on 9/1/09 do. If they do, then you can't submit the rebate because all 10 Eggos have to be purchased in a single transaction on one store receipt.
