Walmart Price Changes!

Why is it that everytime we find a deal on something, they change the price on us? I went in this past sunday to use the $1/1 hefty one zips. They everyday price was $1. I had 40 coupons and they had 14 on the shelf. Well I got the 14 that were there. I said to myself..."I will go back later this week and try to use the rest, because they should be restocked." Well they were, but their new "everyday price" is now $2.18!! What is up with this??

Walmart has one of the most state of the art retail inventory system in the world.

Beside automatic replenishing, it will adjust prices sometimes daily according to supply/demand. It constantly adjust prices according to competition.

Many times, a competitor offer a lower price, it adjust accordingly.

My guess, it increase the price due to a inventory supply problem knowing most of their sales was link to coupons.

I've noticed alot of price increases in my WM - they just remodeled and eveything went up Parent's Choice diapers went up a $1, many other things that never go on "rollback" up .25 or more....SUCKS!

They were still a $1 at my store yesterday.They just remolded our SW so the prices may go up a little.They had alot of grocery items on rollback prices.Been getting some good sales lately.Eggoo's were 1.47 yesterday on rollback.So .47 w/1.00 non-insert coupon.My store also has the new 1.00 section.

same thing happened to me whent he EZ mac was on a good deal... they rolled back the price with an empty shelf. Then when they got a lot of inventory the almost DOUBLED the price!
seems like fraud to me....

I was getting the brita slim pitcher for 7.83 - 7.50 that exp. 7/31= .33 but they never had more than one on the shelf at a time. So the last one I finally got was 8.60!

And the tabasco WAS 1.00, but now that the there are alot of .75/1 mq's out. They are 1.25!!!!

Went to get mars candy bars and use the $1/2 mq. In ONE DAY the price jumped from $.50 to $.64!!!

Also the Adams Flea collar...just when I get extra coupons the collars are on the shelf one day, I go back the next and they DISAPPEAR! Did Walmart pull them off the shelf so that people don't use coupons on them!!!?
