| Re: Walmart: Read before posting vent or complaint I never have had a problem at Wallyworld until today. It was a doozy too!
I picked up 12 of the Hefty storage bags (6 qt and 6 gal) for $1.00 each. I had my last 12 blinkies on hand just for them. I also bought some desperately needed vinegar too. Anywhoo, all items are scanned, vinegar Q goes through, now to the blinkies. They were all DND9's which don't like to scan, but who cares because they do accept blinkies - the cashier was soooo nice. She knew better too, but a CSM was nearby and insisted that they do not accept them and that they were 'store' coupons that I had to use at the store I found them at. lol. I told her 'No, they are MFQ's and I can use them there." She started this very interesting rant about how they do not say MFQ (They didn't either???) and people like me are the reason others are complaining that the prices are increasing because everytime I try to use a coupon illegally I am causing the stores profits to plummit. LMAO!! I, being one not to allow someone to accuse me of anything I didn't do, politely explained that it is not the case. I am using the coupons properly, they are allowed (I bought some previously but they were DND5's and didn't have troubles scanning) and that I find it in poor customer service to speak to a customer in the manner she did. To which she replied "Fine we will take the loss from them but were not suppose to and you are costing us money" I then asked her for her manager because I had enough of her extremely inappropriate attitude. She said "She's going to tell you the same thing I did..." I told her it was okay, I wanted to hear it from the manager. Manager comes over and the CSM starts rambling on about how the coupons won't be credited, blah, blah, blah. The Manager looks at her and says with a sort of puzzled face "We accept these." CSM: "But we won't get credit for them" MGR: "Oh sure we will. We take these all the time" CSM: "Even if they don't scan?" MGR: "Sure! Just key them in." At this point I could not hold back my satisfied smile in any way. The look on the CSM's face was priceless and should go into the hall of fame for poor customer service. Then everyone just left and I was standing at the end of the aisle looking for who to pay, to find I was supposed to follow her to another register...lol. I then couldn't help but tell the CSM once again that her behavior and accusations were beyond inappropriate considering she was wrong! She started to apologize but decided to hold back and blame the register... Well, she almost redeemed herself, but failed miserably. I would have much prefered she apologize for accusing me of personally causing the Walmart recession, but I guess maybe she feels I am still partially to blame....
Sorry so long, but I am still humored by it. I did pay $5.54 for 2 gallons of vinegar and 12 Hefty baggies and had a nice victory under my belt when I left so I am happy!

I was sad to see a sign up at the registers at my WM in May showing the Pace Q and instructing the cashiers not to take them. The sign indicated that they were a valid Q at first, but that people had illegally duplicated and printed them and Pace was no longer reembursing WM for these Q's. I would suggest contacting Pace to get a more official looking Q if you must use it at WM.
I know it is frustrating that they maligned you, since it is others who have abused the system and caused you to be unable to use your legitimate coupon.

I said that was fine and asked him to call up his manager. He shows her the coupons and she says "We can't take these, they are fradulent" I repeat myself saying they aren't and actually pull out a jar that is advertising the Hand Pick to Win game. She still refuses to accept them, saying once again, that they are fradulent. I ask them to take them off. I pay and leave.
Once I get out to the car, I noticed that he only took one off and added another one...so I was still being charged for 2 jars that I didn't have. Now I have to go back in and get my credit. I walk in and ALL of the managers and the cashier are huddled at their little station, talking about ME! I have never been so humiliated in my life. The one lady finally turns around and asks what I need, I told her what happened and she takes me to CS and asks them to take care of me. After that, I decide that I'm gonna ask for the corporate number on the way out. I knew I could find the number on here, but I wanted them all to know that I was calling.
I walk up to the big group of people again, and ask for the corporate number. NONE of them look up at me...incl the store manager AND asst manager. One of the ladies asks why I need it and I said "I understand that you didn't want to accept the coupons and I am fine with that...but I do not appreciate you saying that I'm committing coupon fraud." She says that it's not what they meant and it's not what the cashier meant. I said "It's exactly what you meant". She tries to find a way out of it and then finally tells me to just call 1800Walmart.
I am not one for confrontation at all, but I just think that they were completely out of line today. And what's even more disappointing is that the managers were standing right there and let this happen.
I did a search online and found this phone number 479-273-4000. Is this the immediate response number that you all call? I tried it and it was automated and said they are only open weekdays. What number do you suggest I call? I can't just let this go, especially since I know the managers won't do anything about it since they just stood by this morning.
Thanks for listening to me vent. I know I shouldn't be letting it bother me because I did nothing wrong...but I just don't like being accused of doing something that is illegal. | That stinks so bad that they did that to you. I hope you get some justice. That burns me up. GRRRRR! |

That was uncalled for. |

I cannot believe the things these people come up with .

| Terrible Experience! I want to start by saying that I have always shopped at Walmart because of its low prices. Its a great place to shop, normally. Having said that, I had a horrible experience today at the store today.
First, I was using coupons and the cashier told me that I was not allowed to use a coupon that had a Walgreens logo on it. Mind you, it stated at the top "Manufacturer's Coupon" meaning it can be used anywhere. It also had a barcode starting with a 5 meaning anywhere can scan it. Walgreens coupons start with a 0! She told me that they could not take it. I asked her to get her manager and she attempted. But all the managers were gathered about 300 feet from us talking so they were not aware that we needed them. So she walked over to them to ask about the coupon. The manager looked at it and saw the "Walgreens" logo and started shaking her head. Then she held her hand up and waited for the cashier to give her a high five! As if to say "good job for catching someone trying to get away with something". I have never had a problem using a coupon with a logo on it- ever! In All You Magazine there are coupons that say "Redeem at Walmart", and I used them other places, no one cares as long as it states "Manufacturer's Coupon" at the top.
Next as I was leaving, I noticed the cashier left off one of my coupons. So I walked back over to the cashier and told her that she must have left off one of my $1 off coupons because there are only 3 here and I had 4. She told me that she couldnt open her drawer to look at them without a CSM. So I said could you get a CSM please. She attempted to contact them (they are still gathered in a group talking, not looking for alerts from cashiers) and was not able to get anyone to help her. So once again, she walked over to them and asked for their assistance. She got the coupons out and did realize that I was right, she forgot one. Then she said "well I cant give you any money back, you'll have to take this coupon to customer service." So i walked over to customer service. The lady there proceeded to check my candy bars (the items i used the coupons for) as if to make sure that I wasnt trying to get away with something. She then, without saying a word, opened her drawer and gave me a $1. No thank you, no sorry for the mix up, nothing.
With all this being said, I find this to be terrible service! I don't understand why its such a burden for a cashier to accept a coupon. Especially when Walmart is getting reimbursed every penny plus some! I am not normally the type to complain, but I just thought that you should know how difficult it was for me to just use a coupon. And I would like to know if it is IN FACT their policy to not accept a coupon that has another store logo on it, even though it states "Manufacturer's Coupon"?
Sorry its so long. Just wanted to share the situation!
