WALMART 17 Transactions!!!! ***update in post 31*** I have hope now. :)

So it is my turn to share my WM story. I usually have issues every time I go to WM with the whole purchase/transaction wording on the coupons. But the csm usually says, we will let it go this time.
Well the cashier got through all my coupons and had to call the csm over to over ride since there was more then 40. Well she started going through all of the coupons. About half said one per purchase. She deleted the whole order and she said we have to do these all seperate. The poor cashier. She was not a happy camper. She kept saying that this is so wrong and the managers are so unconsistant. She told me she is a couponer and knows the difference but has to listen to her boss. I just told the csm and the lady at the cs counter that they really need to do something to understand the wording on coupons. I was standing there for 40 min!!! Do you know how many customers go through a line at wm in 40 min????

Another cashier came over and shook her head while this was going on and was like "walmart does not want people to save money again huh?":shrug7:

So I have 17 TRANSACTIONS. One was for a bigger amount because thank God the capri sun q's do not say 1 per purchase. Most of the transactions were for 2 cents etc....

Oh BTW,

I got 14 johnsons body and 17 starkist and 10 mccormick etc....

Ohhhhhh.......That is tooo long to stand in line for something so stupid. I wish managers understood how the real world works.

oh thats absolutely ridiculous !! you are a trooper to stand and do that .. i would have just walked out ... told em to shove it where the sun dont shine..

I had to do the same with the Iams dog food a few weeks back. I was at the self checkout trying to avoid a clueless cashier when an employee came over and grabbed my coupons from me and called a csm. They then called their store manager who supposedly said I had to do 10 diff transactions. The csm seemed to be trying to convince the store manager that I had to do this because that's what she wanted to do. ahh well . . . .

This is so silly. I recently had a similar thing happen at Kmart and the manager came over and watched the cashier do it all. They had to close a lane for me because of the coupons and not really understanding how to do them. At the end the manager said something sarcastic like "You're lucky we took them all. Hope you're satisfied." My friend said "You're lucky she brought her business to your store and was patient enough to stand here for 30 minutes."

BUT the cashier and Asst manager were awesome and I pulled out some paper and wrote a really nice note about them to the store manager and then sent off another email later.........

I would have if my starkist q's were not going to expire tomorrow! Same with the Kraft salad dressing, they expired today. Everyone I saw in that 40 min that worked there got to hear me ask, do you know the difference between a transaction and a purchase? Most of them said that they are the same.

Yup, they closed the lane for me too. I kind of made a joke because of that one commercial, I think it is progressive...I said...I have my own lane.

I think one of the reasons I stood there for so long was that none of them seemed nasty, Some of them were actually walking by and saying, how is it going?
