I have restored hope for wal mart.
The manager called me back today and I was on speaker phone with him and the front end manager. They told me that I was absolutely right and that they should have never made me go through that. He said I guess it is stupidity on our part and we will take care of this gap in training. He thanked me for bringing it to their attention and if I have any other problems in his store, to ask for him or any of the other general managers. He also asked if I could come in and get a $20 gift card for my inconvenience. I told him that I think I can do that.![]()

Way to go. I had that happen to me and talked to the store manger on the phone and told me that I was right and all I got was a sorry and a gift card for what I was over charged...6.63 so you got a real good manger.
