my walmart rant

So I feel like unless it is one heck of a deal, I will never again grace Wal mart with my presence, or my money.

I had 10 12 packs of Pepsi to price match today. 5 for me, 5 for my mother in law. I tell the guy that they are 5/11 at FL, and he says, so they are 2.50 here. DUUUUHHHHH! That makes them 2.20 at FL, thanks!

So he then tells me, I will let you do this just one time, but we are not allowed to price match more than once, meaning I cant buy my pepsi and my mil pepsi on a price match anymore. Just one time. Keep in my these were seperate orders because mil had given me the money to pay for hers. So i say, "Even though it is seperate transactions?" he says "yes, its called stacking" wth

So next problem is I have 10 of the Kraft free wheat thins wyb. He tells me I can only use 2 of them. Me=Why? Him= because it says buy 3 get 1 free. No kidding. I said read the coupon, buy 3 items get wheat thins free, and I bought the koolaid. Thank you very much. Then he takes his sweet time making sure that I bought 10 and price checking every box before he will even deduct my q's.

Even my dh was getting ill. I have never felt so like violence as i did today. But I am thinking of writing corporate and just telling them how i feel. What do you think? Sorry so long!

I wouldn't write corporate. It won't do any good. WM is famous for giving couponers trouble. If you do a search in HUTC for walmart I bet you'll get a boatload of threads.

I like how he called it stacking. He really pulled that one out of his arse!

i dont even go to my local wal mart at ALL anymore. period. this kind of attitude is why that and i cannot use ANY coupons that are over the purchase amount and they keep doing rollbacks on things i have coupons for. making the coupons USELESS there.

With all due respect to all smart and knowledgeable cashiers, IMO this guy is overpaid for his work. Yes, I know most of cashiers work for min. wage or may be a bit more, so this person doesn't deserve whatever he gets.

i went to my walmart and they told me that i could only use 1 coupon per transaction and i had about 30 they said only 1 i said gimmie my coupons and i left.

dh thinks Walmart supports this type of thing, except when you complain, then they act all apologetic. I'm not gracing WM either unless they have something on roll back cheaper than I can get it else where. I won't cut off my nose to spite my face. But they have lost most of by business. Funny thing is, at Safeway this morning, I was complimented for my coupon usage. Then the checker discovered that she did not give me my bag discount, so she rang that up in a seperate transaction. What a difference!

I wouldn't doubt this at all! I have an acquaintance that works for Wal-mart and it is amazing, the stuff they get by with, treating their employees horribly!
