Walmart is Trying to BREAK me!!! HELP!

I went to WM today with the $3/2 Head & Shoulders "any size"

Of course I got the dreaded "Beep" and Oh, you can't get the trial size..blah, blah,blah. Went through the whole explanantion with the cashier, then a 2nd, then a CSM - I left the store (of course I told them to keep the stuff) I called back and asked for a manager. Talked to T***(said she was a co-manager) She still said I can't use it on trial because they are only .97 ea. and the coupon is for $3.00 (you know the story) It was like talking to a blow up doll (that's about how many brains she has)

Tomorrow I am going in to talk to the Manager (the big kahuna - lol)
I have never had to stand my ground this far up the food chain and I don't want to loose my temper and make myself look stupid or like a crazy person.

How would you approach the manager. Give me some good stron comeback lines - I'm sure he is going to try to convince me to see it his way - which of course, is WRONG!

Help me..Walmart is trying to squish me because I am a smart shopper who uses coupons!!! Thanks!

I was just coming on to post that I wasn't allowed to use that coupon today either. The excuse I got was that in the small print it says 'Redeem ONLY by purchasing the brand size(s) indicated' I tried telling them the size indicated is 'ANY' as it says right on the coupon. Nope, wouldn't let me do it because the picture shows the full size - even though the words clearly say ANY size. I THOUGHT I was going to have an awesome trip (first time ever) but I wasn't allowed to use anything.

5 $1.97 schick disposable razors, use $2 off ANY
2 .97 Head & Shoulders, use $3/2 ANY size
2 .97 John Frieda mousses, use $3/2 any

use overage to buy Chocolate Corn pops that had a TMF sticker.

The worst part was she acted smirky and superior - like she was glad I couldn't use them. So I had to leave it all there.

I'm sorry to hijack. I'll be interested to hear how far you get with this fight.

They must have really good eyesight, I can't read the oz on the bottles on the coupon to see if I'm buying the "brand size(s) indicated".

What about calling Walmart corporate to see if they allow it?

I haven't tried it at our WM yet but if I get the beep, I'll just take it off the order. But if what I see is the prompt, coupon amount valid =$3,

most cashiers just hit K1 and take it. but if it beeps, I will ask for the Q and take it off the order. they still take the Schick disposable, KY and Gillette bw Qs so I will not complain about the H&S or I will just be flagging myself.

I get the beep on every coupon because it always asks for "Valid Amount" on every coupon, regardless of what it is. Is that whats happening, OP?

My WM beeps and says "quantity reached" on every coupon no matter what. I used one coupon on one item and it said that. So strange.

I agree you cannot tell if those bottles are full size or not in the picture.

please read my rant on WM and contact your district manager! I was able to get the DM to tell me that it is CORRECT and PROPER to get overage!

This is what happened to me. It asked if it was a valid amount.

Did they not take it after verifying the amount? My store will either hit ok or price adjust the coupon to match the cost of the item when this comes up. It happens with every coupon I use, regardless if the coupon is giving overage or not.
