at our SWM, a prompt like coupon amount valid =X? is different from the dreaded beep.
most often when a Q is scanned and the cashier is not paying attention, they cannot scan another Q until they hit K1 if there is a prompt. once they accept it, the discount reflects in the receipt. whereas if it beeps, and the friendliest cashier cannot even push it even if entered as vendor Q, I just ask for my Q and take it off the order.

i had this same problem. not with this coupon but with "any size" coupons for trial size stuff. i called the quick responce team for walmart or whatever its called. and they called the walmart and i went back with my coupons and they have expired since trying to use them so she just gave me face value for the coupons! so i went in there with expired coupons didnt buy anything and they gave me $8.00!
I would tell them that they are NOT going to lose money, they will even make 8 cents taking the coupon. sheesh. you would think they are not capable of understanding to change the coupon amount to match two of them. i would tell them how much to mark it down and say you dont mind the wait while they do it. LOL
My DM says the same thingplease read my rant on WM and contact your district manager! I was able to get the DM to tell me that it is CORRECT and PROPER to get overage!![]()
