maybe im paranoid but if i was a cashier i would be leary of taking an ip if it was in black and white.....but then again, i have a hard time (as in me, not the cashier) about using pale coupons from not refilling my ink in time......still new to couponing though(at least on a mass scale, im also leary on using more then 2 ips in a transaction too!)

Sometimes the IPs actually say :Attention cashier this coupon may be printed in black and white or color." or something to that affect.

I was in the same boat as you, my walmart told me no on internet coupons several times, I emailed walmart several times too, and I finally got a reponse back about 3 days ago, The assistant mgr contacted me by phone and apologized profusely, saying she didnt understand why the cashiers were denying them but they have never stopped taking IP's, she said I could use her name anytime I had a problem with my ip coupons. She did state that there was issues with fraudulent coupons, but it was very rare that they came across any. So you might try and contact the store mgr and see what they say.

About 2 weeks ago we were told only 1 IP per transaction.
I had 2 for Kashi Cereal
I asked why that was and she said that people were making copies
of them. I said that it was no problem that I would just use the
second IP next time. I did tell her that most sites will let you print 2 of the
same coupon off.
She said she would let us use the 2 that time.
I was nice and thanked her.

That was the first time I have ever had a problem using IP coupons though.
Going to walmart again tonight. Will see how it goes.

I used self-checkout tonight and the cashier had to manually enter my coupons (not sure why, but some scanned and some didn't). She entered too many by mistake and called a supervisor for assistance.

It was the supervisor that told me they no longer accepted internet coupons. He said he was just shown a memo that said they now only accept coupons from the news papers. I asked if I could use a coupon if it was sent to me by the manufacturer & he said he didn't know. I asked for my coupons back, left the merchandice, and informed him I would be contacting his superiors.

Hi - I had posted about this on another thread. Funny thing is, two weeks later and I now cashier there, lol. ANyway, when I had my issue, I contacted corporate - the girl there couldn't believe I had been denied using my IPs. I got a call from the store manager saying that they were changing their policy and that they are supposed to take the internet coupon BUT only if it scans.

Since I now work there, all I can say is that my store does NOT train their cashiers on anything. I was trained for an HOUR on the register, working with various people who all had their own ways of doing things. That was it and I was on my own. I got to say, that at my store, they also put fear into you about how you will 'coached' for doing things wrong. It is easy for me to see now, why some of the cashiers I have been to have been leary of taking coupons especially when the register doesn't like the coupon.

I was at my walmart last night and got denied the IP's too. I had a copy ready of the coupon policy posted on their website but it was late and the CSR was busy checking out a full line of ppl, I had another store I need to go to yet SO I did not bother. I do want to call someone about this issue, but who?

I got told no ip's today also.
Then after I said
"It is still on your company website that you take internet coupons"
she replies we have been told not to take internet coupons if they beep.
I replied
" ok, no problem - just write down the manager or district manager that told you that, so I have something to tell corporate when I call about this". The front manager replied "well if it scans it's ok".
I still didn't back down, I never said another word about the internet coupon, just stared right back at her.
LOL, - I heard her whisper to the cashier to take them anyway.

I was having a bad day - so today wasn't the day to mess with me on ips.
I was in a mood and would have called corporate from the self check out to use my ip. yeah - I am normally quiet and hate to draw attention to myself.
They only had 2 express registers open - out of 36 lanes.
I know that walmart doesn't like coupons in self check outs because of fraud.
I didn't want to go through the self ck out.
I knew it would be a hassle with the coupons.

My haul was: kotex, ky, old spice body wash, zantac, grilling beans - 19 items for 2.32
I Did this combination of products on all 3 orders. All were 2.xx

Don't let them run over you. It's their rule to take internet coupons.
