Walmart Price Check Thread

Do you need to know the price of something at Walmart and you can not find it in the Walmart Every Day Low Price and Trial Size thread? Post your request here to see if any of our members know the price. If not as your mod I venture to WM at least once a week and will check the price for you and post it back here.

yes it is YMMV but it can be helpful to know, since the prices are usually within a few cents. This is my experiance anyways.

Yep. All large chains employ so called price zones. 6-7 WMs in 15 miles radius in our area have prices vary within 10%, supermarkets prices vary even in their advertized specials.

Anyone have an idea on the price (or if they even carry) Mueller's pasta, especially elbow macaroni, at Walmart? I got a couple more 5/$3 coupons in the mail today and don't really want to go out tonight to go shopping at Stop & Shop for free pasta if the price is close to Walmart's price. I'd go to S&S right now, but if I strap the boys in their car seats and take them for a 20 minute drive, they'll be asleep when I get there and then I'd have to wake them up and they'd be cranky and whiny - it's just not worth the hassle!! LOL

Cant help you with that one. They dont carry meullers pasta in Wy.

I don't think they carry it at all. The ones in ohio and here I've worked at haven't, at least.

One more note for pricechecks in WM.
They often carry food packages of the different weight then in other stores. The variable might be small, 1-3 oz., but affects the unit price. look for and compare the unit price of the given item, not the total package.

It's been a long time since I've bought any training pants, but that time is fast upon me with my 2 year old. Does anybody know about how much the "walmart brand" pull-ups are? I'm not sure exactly which name brand they are, when I used them with my now 5 year old they had tweety bird on them! Even a close estimate would be great. I'm just trying to compare it with the sale prices at some other stores if I used coupons for name brands.
