Trip to Walmart w/ Overages! (Updated on Pg. 2 w/ image)

I have only been Couponing for a week now and this is sooo exciting! My husband loves it too, he said I have turned shopping into a game and have given him something to do by hunting for deals to use our coupons on, instead of just following me around the stores like a dummy. HAH!

I went the other day (My FIRST time) and got:
Honey Bunches of Oats - $2/1 IP (x2) = .04 overage
Zantac 150 - $5/1 (x2) = $2.04 overage
Kotex Panty Liners - $1/1 (x6) = FREE!
Clean & Clear Trials - $2/1 IP (x2) = $2.06 overage
3M Flag Tabs - $3/2 IP (x6) = $6.36 overage

I was proud of myself for being a first timer.

And I just got done planning my WM trip for today:
Huggies (16CT) Wipes - REG .98 with $1/1 (x4) = .08 overage
KY Jelly - REG $2.64 with $3/1 = .36 overage
3M Flag Tabs - $3/2 IP (x12) = $12.72 overage
Malt-O-Meal Cereal - (On sale for $1.00) $1/1 (x6) = FREE!
Fast Fixin' Dino Chicken Bites (On sale for $1.00) $1/1 (x4) = FREE!
Scotch Brite Toilet Scrubber (x2) = FREE!
Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Kit - REG. $12.00 $10/1 = +$2.00 (cant beat the price)

Ive checked and my WM has all above items, so with luck I will be walking out of there with $25.42 and all the above items! I can't wait until my Husband gets home.. I love this game!

Good luck on walking out with money in your hand. Most WM's will check that out, and redo some of the coupons, so you aren't getting paid to shop. They'll just adjust the Q's down to the price. I find the best way to avoid that is by adding to my purchase, that way, they don't second glance it, and I miss out. If you do get paid to shop, good for you.....just be prepared in case you don't.

I highly doubt that WM will pay you. But, if they do, good for you. Take ariyana9501's advice and just add to your order to bring your total up past the $25 mark so there is no hassle. Usually, if your total falls to the negative, the cashier freaks and doesn't know what to do so they call a manager over.

You might try getting a gift card at the beginning of your order to eat up the overage - that way it won't be a red flag - it works at wags!

Also, details on the 3M flags - I want to get some and haven't found them at a deal, is this on sale this week or what - can you give me exact specifics - no time to run around looking:)

Lastly, will WM price match shampoo - I want to use my HE $3/2 before they expire and want to get the ones that have the mani/pedi so am hopeful to take an ad in???? thx

Wal-Mart will price match everything. They will not match percents off or BOGO's. They will even price match meat and produce.

and they will also pricematch like 5 for $5 and other deals like that, but ya I don't think they will do BOGO, YMMV.

How much is this stuff usually? I think there's a $1.50 MQ for this (4/13RP), so is this item $1.50 each!? TIA!

Well.. I actually made my way around to WM, Target and Kmart today.

I def. did some extra shopping to fill in for the overages and actually walked out paying $6.xx so I didnt feel bad. One cashier made a joke the other day when first using my coupons that she wouldnt be surprised if she'd owe me money by the time she was done scanning my Q's. She LOVED seeing how much money we were saving. Wish they all were like that.

I got the Scotch Brite Toilet Scrubber @ Target because they were all out at Walmart. They ended up being $6.xx each, which surprised me because at WM & KM they were under $5 i think.

OH and the Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Kit was NOT $12 at any of the stores I went to. The cheapest I found it was $19.xx and I was not going to pay that much extra for something I dont normally use.
