Walgreens ~ Other: New rule to spend Jingle cash :(

The yearly jingle cash promo starts week of 12/4 and I've always been excited when this time comes but not this year

There's a new rule that you can only spend the JC earned the previous week (those earned 12/4 can be spent week of 12/11) WITH A MINIMUM PURCHASE OF $30. It has been a long time since I reached $30 before coupons in one transaction so I don't think I'll earn even 1 JC

JC promo is:
spend $30, earn $5
spend $50, earn $10
spend $75, earn $15
spend $100, earn $20

Also thought I saw somewhere you can only redeem one JC per transaction

The one JC per trxn rule has been going on for 2 yrs now IIRC. IN the past, we could spend just the JC with no minimum purchase required so if total is $5, since its a store coupon, I don't remember paying tax on it.

I spent the last of my RRs last month, so I'm out of it for Black Friday. And it looks like I won't be missing anything with the Jingle Cash this year.

Uhhh - I wasn't even planning on getting (1) JC this year any RRs I'll be getting this week from BF - my mom will use up this week as well which helps me ~ no worrying about the RRs expiring

I am doing it one time. There are white strips coming up on sale and I noticed some big man long johns 2/18.00 - plus some of that as seen on tv stuff. I need somethings at least enough to do 1 or 2 jingle cash sets.

Def won't be like the old times and roll and roll. I guess they are targeting the newer couponers that don't care about oop. The new deal chasers that just want to save anything.

Remind me how to you earn the jingle cash? Is it the regular RR's for the week or do you get the jingle cash another way?

Spend between $30 to $100 before tax and coupons to get the jingle $5 to $100 in jingle cash. I think you can earn in multiple weeks and in the past you could use a jingle cash to get the next one,,,,,I think there was one time you couldn't but most of the times I could.
So that will be something to watch for.

Wags has some good deals and if it's something I can buy there instead of Walmart for the same price I will. Ie,,,breathe right nose strips for .99 to walmarts .97 and the 44.97 crest strips. I asked for 50 breathe rights to be ordered,,,but I don't know if they could and how nice they are gonna be to adjust them down .

JCs are bonus RRs which are store coupons so it should not affect printing of regular RRs as long as qualified items are bought.

you can only use them the following week, and they NOW require an add'l $30 purchase to use the JC which is a new rule this year. In the past, we could use the GC to buy for their $5 toys/candies/chocolates on sale even if that is all we're buying, but now, we have to incorporate more shopping just to use them.
