    They were still out today.
You're right, that would have been a nice filler - but my store was out when the doors opened. Small store = small inventory.

Good thing they finally got the toothbrushes in tonight - forgot to ck for the prep h - another thing they have been out of.

We have a co manager that doesn't like coupons or couponers and she is hiding the stuff and not putting it out. So I have learned to go the last day of sales when the good co manager finds it and put it out.

This is my first time shopping a Walgreen's on Black Friday. They were well stocked. I arrived there at 4 pm and left at 9pm. The manager was allowing multiple transactions. I went in with $7 RR's to spend. I came out with $38 RR's and my oops was $2.89. It was a great night. I may go back today.

It's helpful to have a mental list of some regular items that are cheap for backup fillers. Some people use pencils, cheap candy bars, the small votive candles (not sure of the price). The instant pudding and jell-o (Royal I think) and ramen is usually around 39c each or 3/$1, cheese sticks 2/$1 I think, also check the clearance. Knee high 2pks were 3/$1 for a while. If the sardines or canned mandarins are cheap I sometimes use those. I like their sardines, they have the smoked ones. I would rather pay a bit more for something I would actually use. Their cereal bowls and glasses are sometimes cheap.

I did amazing at Walgreen's over the past 3 days. I went to 3 stores, 2 of them only allowed one deal per customer. The other one didn't limit transactions and I was in the medium category of crazy coupon shopper. There were 3 people there every day doing hundreds of transactions. The store had preordered for them and had their shelves stocked up for everyone else. I did about 8-10 transactions each day. This store is so incredibly over the top. The employees gave me coupons. The manager asked if I wanted any Revlon lip gloss as it wasn't on the shelves. I didn't. I only wanted the lipstick and they were out, but I did get several at my other 2 stores.

In 3 days I spent a total of $68.84 OOP and earned $113.50 in RR's. I am thrilled. I got 2 Sonicare Toothbrushes in that too. Last week I bought a Sonicare Toothbrush set at Kohl's that had one charger and 2 toothbrushes for my DH and me. We realized we should each have our own charger and got one for DD too. Such a great deal. And I did the $10 rebate for one of them.

It was so much fun. I hugged the cashier when I left today. I had helped another man who didn't know anything about RR's and he gave me a hug as I was leaving too.

I was going to leave with coupons still great, but was just too tired to do anymore. I did give that man my last coupons.

    What a fun 3 days!
