My guess is that it came from "District" rather than Corporate. I'm quite sure that if that ever comes down from Corporate, they should be prepared to see their bottom line plummet.
I hope you live in an area with "a WAG on every corner" so you can go elsewhere. Hopefully, that is your particular store manager's "rules" and you'll be able to find another store that much more coupon friendly.

I spoke to someone at Loss Prevention about this very issue because my store always made me buy 3 items with 3 coupons in seperate transactions... she said that is NOT the way it has to be done. She told me she would call the store that gave me problems because I can use 3 coupons on 3 of the same items in one transaction.

Yeah I don't like putting them on the website till I am ready cause they will submit them even if you are not ready.You actually have till like the 1st or 2nd of each month to submit them,but I think walgreens will automatically submit them at the end of the month

Every walgreens is suppose to take coupons unless they are expired or you have more then 1 for each 1 item.They get paid back for them.Seriously,all these people posting that cashiers or managers telling them they cant use them is getting me mad!
I work at walgreens for 5 years.My store manager actually goes around telling people to use coupons and tells them to go over to the cosmetic register cause we keep extra coupons over there.I use to do the paper work and I know 100% fact you can use them and you girls just need to start calling coporate or district.

I have a question, I bought several items today and got back a few RR's.
I on the pepsi deal , I got back $2RR and I want to use it on my 2nd transaction for the fusion razor. She rang up the fusion razor then mius the $4 off mq then tried to use the $2 RR also and it beeped each time she tried it.

Is there a secret to using the RR's?
Now that I have some should I use them first before my mq ?

Is the online rebate input system available to all states now, or just certain ones? I'm in Maryland.

Yes, it's been all states since April or May, I believe. It's LOTS easier than mailing it in, and LOTS faster!

Some people say to give the RR first but it doesn't work here. I always use a filler with a RR and MQ. Then again, I almost always have DS with me and sometimes, he needs a little treat.

Alot of the issue is that there are some people who go a bit overboard and don't "fly under the radar" so to speak. That causes some managers to become suspicious and worry about coupon fraud. Frankly, there's no reason to go into a store and clear the shelves on the first day of a sale. But it happens, often. I'm not in retail management anymore (I was in college) but I can understand it from a manager's standpoint. Yes, they are getting the sales. BUT they also have to deal with angry customers who can't get the advertised products during the sale week.
All that said, each store manager does have the right to limit the amount of products sold to "normal household use" amounts. Granted, what is "normal" in the general population and what is "normal" to a coupon-crazed stockpile Queen is a totally different animal. There's just something to be said for common courtesy and, if you see something in the previews that you know you'll want a large quantity of, by all means- ask for a special order in advance. Okay, I'm off now.
