Thanks for the suggestion. I went to walgreens.com and found the store in question, and clicked on "View Weekly Ad", there is none for this store. So I doubt they do, but I emailed them to find out. Thanks!

That manager was very inept. Most of the time they'll just let you trade the packages without going through the register.

Even if he was trying to keep inventory on track, all he would have had to do since you were just exchanging them was refund it the exact same way as you would be purchasing it.

My question is how does the bygo work. I mean if cover girl is on sale for bygo and you have a bygo how could you possibly use that? I see post about that and I dont understand how they would let you use it. Am I missing something. Is it true?

yeah, understand what you mean. its states on cover girl you have to buy a product to get 1 free. but realastically your not buying anything??? I'm confused as well on this one, I went to Kmart and used the bogo coupon just so I didn't have to argue w/ walgreens. lol would love a answer to this as well:)

The other day I went to WAG, bought x amount of items, and used lots of various coupons.
The total came out to 53.05. I paid with 10 $5RR, and 1 $3RR, so my total OOP was .05.
There were no beeps, everything went through fine.

Once I was finished, the manager walked up and let me know that what I did was not allowed. She told me that I could only use RRs to pay for them amount of each item (in other words, each item that I was using a $5 RR on had to be at least $5.)

My understanding is that, as long as I had 11 items NOT tied to another MQ, I can use the 11 RRs to pay. Wouldn't it beep otherwise?

Who is right? She wasn't rude about it, but I've noticed whenever she is working that she is very strict about c/o usage. Unfortunately, she works the night shift, and I like to shop late pm/early am, so she is there a lot of the time I am!

I tried to buy an item, had a Wag c/o and also an MFQ. It beeped, so since I couldn't use both, I told the cashier nevermind, remove the item, which he did. However, he had already put my MFQ in the drawer, so I didn't get it back.
Lost cause now, but for the future, is there a way to handle this? I told him not to worry about it b/c he seemed pretty overwhelmed w/ all the c/o's I was using and I didn't want him to have to call up the strict manager.

I just checked my Wags rebate status today and instead of seing the word "validating," I'm now seing "Walgreens EasySaver GC Reload." Just want to know if that means it has been reloaded to my GC? thanks! I put my receipt info online on 7/31

what if you have a gift card from something other than the rebates...could you load your 1st gift card rebate onto that, instead of getting a whole, new, seperate card from the rebates? hope this is understandable ;) TIA

No, I don't think you can. The gift cards you get from the rebate deal are tied to you (your name & addy, I think). They are different than the gift cards in the store. I believe it has to be a gift card that you got from the easysaver rebates at some time or another. But someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

britt5379 you are correct. The rebates can only be loaded onto a gc received through the rebate process. They have completely different numbering scheme than the instore gift cards.
