when using an RR, you have to take that into account and add one more item then the total number of items the coupons you are using are good for.

if you are using
one $1/1 and one RR, you need to buy 2 items (1+1)
two $1/2 and one RR, you need to buy 5 items (2+2+1)
etc.

if others have a different experience, please post here so i can update the FAQ properly.

I went to Walgreens today & they have Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel on clearance for $1.59 (its pretty cool - it has a bottle of color & a bottle of 'sealing shine')...anyway, the ES has an IVC for $3.00 of ANY Revlon Color Stay product and 2 cashiers refused to use the coupon (I went to 2 different stores).

Should the cashier have adjusted the price of the coupon?

The cashier should have scanned the coupon. As long as the item was coded correctly, the ES coupon will adjust itself down. For example, I recently bought some clearance L'Oreal Vive Pro shampoo for $1.29 each, and there was a $3/2 coupon. The coupon knew automatically to only take $1.29 off for each shampoo.

the IVC would've taken off the 1.59 not the $3.
the cashier should've scanned it.

Thanks for the help - I e-mail customer service asking them to clarify the policy. The coupon is weird .... the UPC is 0 00000 05450 8 ... We'll see how it turns out.

I had the same question! Post #42. I tried the Revlon Colorstay c/o at my other Wags last night (on the nail enamel) and the cashier refused to accept it. It was scanned at both stores--but it beeped. I give up on that c/o unless the product is over 3.00.

If the coupon beeps.... well.... that's trickier.

If you want a definitive answer, I'd either speak with the Manager or Executive Assistant Manager, or call/email Customer Service. I don't know... since Walgreen's issued the coupon I think they can interpret it however they want. Like my local grocery store's coupon for $3 off of 3 post cereal, and they say that it has to be the kind pictured and the register beeps.

FWIW, Eckerd's policy was to reduce their IN STORE coupons to match the item price.

I just go my January rebate. I bought the grape juice to recive the heart healthy pack or whatever they call it. Anyway on my rebate it's say heart healthy products, no rebate. Does it say that just because It's not a cash rebate or did I maybe do something wrong.
