What time do register rewards actually start? OK, I have a unique situation in that I work very late on Saturdays and get off work at 11pm. I love to coupon but by the time I wake up and go to wags Sunday for the deal the "shelf clearing" has already taken place and no deals for me : (
So I would like to pick up one or two RR items before I go home after my shift is over. But I am afraid the RR wont print? I know they start hanging up tags on Sat around 6pm for the next weeks deals but if I go shopping at wags on Sat at say 11:30pm when I get out of work will Sundays RR's work?
Just trying to find a way to get my fair share before it's all gone. It's just me and my son so just a few items can last us 6 months or longer!
Thanks for any help and please post any ideas you may have for me so I can get a few deals before they are gone!

LOL My hubby and I spent months trying to get Wags figured out....it was nuts to say the least but even going to the 24 hr Wags on Sat night was bad (no RRs print) and stuff had already been cleaned out....So I will tell you what I do and maybe it will work for ya....Here in our town, our local Wags will pre-order for you so on Monday by noon I call and tell our mgr. what I want for the next week. I go and look at next weeks ad and see what deals I want to snag then on Sunday evening I go in and its already there. Here's this week to make it easy:
I called Monday Aug 15th (by noon) and pre-ordered 5 Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste and 5 of the Huggies Slip Ons
On this Sunday Aug 21st I will go into cosmetics and say I am here for my pre-order and its awesome!
I then walk around and get fillers if I need to or look for other deals, plan my transactions and check out!
Now, I know that some Wags won't pre-order but ours has stated they LOVE it because they know what demand there is for a product and they don't have to worry about having enough. As you can see by my order, I don't get all crazy, I order what we really need or items I donate to Crosslines here in Joplin.
They only major rule our Wags mgr. has is if you don't pick up one week, he will not pre-order for you anymore...which is fair! So maybe this will work for you or others might have better ideas but pre-ordering has made me like couponing at Wags again...its so simple! Good luck!

You will need to speak to your cashier. They can HEAR the Catalina machine making certain noises, which means it is in the process of switching over. It does happen at different times every week.
Re: What time do register rewards actually start? WOW! thanks to everyone for your kind replies. I love the idea about ordering. I will call Monday morning to place an order and pick it up. I hope they let me because this idea sounds like pain-free shopping at wags!
On a side note, since the couponing craze I have to say wags in my area (San Marcos/Kyle Texas) have been awesome to couponers. Very nice and friendly. I was just at Target today and they are the worst to customers using coupons in my area. Cashiers acting like I'm taking money from them by using coupons. I have to rate wags at #1 in customer service and coupons. I know it may be different in some areas but for my neck of the woods they are a dream and a pleasure to shop with. After getting harassed and frustrated at target and walmart I'm almost to the point of putting a "I love Walgreens" bumper sticker on my car lol!

Yep, the ordering is awesome but definitely check with your Wags and see what their schedule is for ordering...I know our Wags wants the order Monday by noon in order to get it for next week and their trucks come Wed. so it sits in the backroom until Sun (so I can check out after sale has started and get RRs) but it will all depend on when your Wags gets their truck.
Last, I will mention there is also a chance they don't get the item....it happens....for example, this week I ordered 4 Pert Plus and whadya know? They didn't get it but that rarely happens...I still have waaaaay better odds pre-ordering than trying to go in and try to get to items on the shelf. Our Wags mgr. is always very apologetic about it but he says he is depending on the warehouse too. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
