Thumbs Down Does the manager not want business?

I have a 24 hour Wags here in NC that i usually go to Saturday night to get a deal or two, and have never had any problems.

This past Saturday night there was a MOD that I've never seen before. There also another couponer there accompanied by her husband. We both were going to do the 4/$15 Dove deal.

The manager began yelling at us at around 12:30 saying to come back tomorrow because the RR's will not print, but 'good luck because those crazy coupon lady's come in at 3 am and take everything'

The fellow couponer in the store took a chance and did the transaction, and all of her RR's printed for her items. After the smooth transaction, the manager gave me the OK to proceed. After arguing with me about the fine print on a coupon, my RR's did not print. After sighing and slamming reciepts around, she then voided the transaction, voided the money, and told me to stand there for an hour to be sure the RR's print. Meanwhile stating "I told you coupon lady it was not going to print."

This attitude did not stop for the entire hour and a half I stood in the store until my transactions went according to plan.

I was not wiping shelves out, or doing 5 transactions in the same visit, I simply had the dove deal, Speed Stick, And some rainchecks for Crest ProHealth mouthwash from a few weeks back. I know the show has thrown everything off balance and quite frankly aggravated many people, but Since when is Wags so anti-coupon?

Sometimes some of the RR deals make if so you have to spend $15 to get the RR after coupon. My guess is this is one of them.

My total was $16.01 before coupons, It was just the manager's yes/no anti-coupon attitude that made the whole trip not worth some BW and deodorant!

    I agree on the attitude.

It might be that after coupon on this one you still have to reach $15.

I love our manager at my WAGS but the assistants managers I dislike immensely. Love the regular cashiers though. But it's hard when they treat you like dirt. Makes ya not wanna go.

I am not saying to call in on this assistant......
    butttt......if you do
Call the store first. If you call the 1-800 number, inturn the store will get a email and the store manager will be ( or should that is ) contacting you about it.
It will save a few steps, and you can be prepared to talk to the store manager vs his call catching you off guard and not being ready to discuss it.

I really really have wanted to like my assistants...they just kept disappointing me.

I guess though..there was a big WAGS manager conference...where several managers lost there job after getting drunker then a skunk and doing stupid stuff...so our assistants are being farmed out to other WAGS to help out. I'm hopeful maybe they can be put in permanently and we will get new assistants who will love me.
