Well today I went to Wags hoping to get a few things and this was the first week that I've experienced all the RR deals gone this early in the week. I know it's Monday but I think as time goes on more and more people are doing the "couponing thing" in my area. I guess I just have to go early Sunday morning and have all my coupons ready to go the night before (praying my papers have all the coupons in them)!
As a newbie to couponing, I will say that I did get into it because of that show... but I don't wanna be all crazy like them. I don't need 400 boxes of cat food, or 80 cases of hot sauce! I watched 2 episodes and thought "Those ppl are INSANE!" But it did make me curious about how coupons actually work. I mean, I would occasionally come across a coupon for $1 off of the cat litter I use, and so I would use that coupon. It was just a buck I saved, no big deal. But that show made me curious. So I got online to see how REAL ppl use coupons to save themselves and their families actual money. And I found this place! I love the idea of having a small stockpile for myself, and being about to get stuff for my mom cause she lives in a super small town in the middle of no where. Anyway. My point is that there are a bunch of new coupon users because of the show, and the ones who are going out buying 400 boxes of catfood will soon realize that they don't even own a cat and will tire of couponing and find something else to fixate on. Give it a few months, you'll be able to find your deals again... OR stores will learn to increase their supply to keep up with the demand.
