500 ct QTips $4.49 in Nashville
This week the ad had a WAG coupon to get the Q-tips for $2/pack. And they are part of the Unilever $5 OYNO WYB $15 so does anyone know the regular price of the Q-tips? And has anyone tried the skippy. I need peanut butter and Q-tips... what a combination! :wink068:
500 ct QTips $4.49 in Nashville
I live in Buffalo, NY area and it showed originally $3.99 for the Q-tips.
However my RR did not print out. I got 6 different SunSilk products from the page and one of the 500ct Q-tips and nothing printed.
At first I thought maybe the Q-tips weren't Unilever, but I checked and the box says they are. They are on the page so they should count. The manager thought the same thing at first, but I showed her and she agreed.
I didn't mean to buy six Sunsilk (brain fart). I really only wanted 4 plus the Q tips. I got sort of lucky. For some reason two of the SunSilk products rung up on sale at $.50!!! I don't know why.
I used to BOGO coupons for the Sunsilks, the coupon from the AD to get the Q-tips for $2 and the $.25 Q-tip coupon from the Sunday coupons. Should have worked fine:
4 Sunsilk = 13.33
2 Sunsilk = $1.00 (don't ask me to explain that one)
1 500ct Q-tip = 3.99
Total = 19.32 (way over the $15)
The manager gave me a mail-in thing (when the coupon machine is supposedly not working) to get the coupon. That is going to stink. It is like a regualr rebate. Have to wait up to 8 weeks to get it. Plus I have to pay the postage to send it.
If anyone has any ideas on what may have happened, or if anyone tried this same combination and it worked please tell me.
Anyone ever have trouble using an easy saver coupon with a manufacturer coupon? When I used an easy saver coupon last time (I didn't have a manu. coupon to use with it so it was by itself) it rang up and said manufacturer (or whatever the 3 or 4 letter abbreviation they use is) after it. That makes me wonder if they ring it in as a manu. coupon and therefore make it impossible to use another. Can someone please check your receipts and let me know how your ES coupons ring in and if it is different from your manu. coupons? Pretty please!
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet.. but:
Bayer aspirin is $0.40
on sale for $1.50 and there is a $1.10 off coupon for bayer in this weekends inserts.
just got back from my walgreens shopping....got a buttload of M&M...had 6 printables(they sent me 3 coupons in 2 days, when i requested them, after i printed them also)
this deal wrks great...got 4 boxes.
Q-tips (500 count boxes)
my were 3.99
Buy 4 = $15.96 - $7.96 (7-day coupon to make them $2 each) - $1 (4 @ .25) - $5 RR = $2 (.50 each)
i had 12 curves bars .50 coupons.....so that 3/1.98 or 12/7.92 - 6.00=1.92 for 12 boxes.
the fiber one bars printed out 10 coupons per computer, so i had 20 coupons.
18 boxes of bars at 3/1.98 or 18/11.88 and 10.80 in coupons = 1.08 for 18 boxes
had 2 more $2off scott extra soft TP, so 2/$5 - 2x$2off= 1.00 for 2 4 packs...(this stuff is actually good TP)
lysol toilet bowl cleaner 2 for 1.59...good price...
the wrigleys gum is the system does accept both walgreens coupons...so
6x18packs or 6x1.09 =6.54 - 7day($3.00) -ES(3.00) = .54 for 6 packs...if you had a MC, these would be money makers.....
and the bic pens of course auto ring up at .39, use the $1/2 and you make money. you can print 2 from BIC, and they came out in west coast papers today.
and 14 tylenol PM , at .49 = profit of 6.86, which i used to offset real money above.
not a bad trip....
I'm so glad I didn't find the Tylenol pm trial size at Target the other day!!! I used one of my coupons and planned on using them all! Thanks OP.
I was able to do the Wrigleys deal for overage. The B1G1 in today's paper rang up as $1.00 off. So:
2x1.09 = 2.18 - 1.00(b1g1) - 1.00(ES) - 1.00(7day) = .82 overage.
For whatever reason, on the receipt the coupons printed as two MFGCs and one WG coupon. So my newbie question is, does this make this an illegal deal?
bic pens are ringing 0.39 BEFORE the walgreens 7 day so be prepared for the manf to beep!!
