Told that Walgreens coupon from book considered is a manufacture coupon

Made a trip to Wags last night.
It was pointed out to me, from the cashier, that I am no longer allowed to use manufacture coupons with the Walgreens Coupon Book.

It states in the book on each coupon that it is a manufacture and not to be used with any other coupon.

So, no more wonderful deals with that book.

    Anyone else experience this?

IVCs have had this wording for a couple of years, and Corporate policy (according to what we have been given) still allows for the use of MQs with the IVCs. HOWEVER, WAG does not have a "coupon policy" per se, and each store manager is allowed to set the rules for his/her store.
I would recommend trying another store, or at the very least, speak with the store manager directly to determine if that is indeed the store's policy.

    I will be visiting another.
Does not make much sense. Forever they have always allowed us to combine.
And now they change their minds.
Oh, well. If it does not work at any other locations, it was fun while it lasted.

I've had the same issue at some stores. Others let me do it. I don't think its fair to call it a MQ if they are saying it can only be used in their store. I went to a store today and because she couldn't get my IP to scan she said I couldn't use it....They stink

I agree, they do stink. I had the same issue. Cashier was very uptight and rude. I actually called the manager (which I have never done before) and long story short he said they are manufacturer coupons. I said, "Well, if they are a manufacturer coupon wouldn't I be able to use them at other stores?" He said, "Yes, that's true." So, he agreed, but the issue couldn't be resolved over the phone. It's very frustrating not knowing how your transaction will go depending on the cashier/manager.
