This happens sometimes. A very low cost item is included when it shouldn't have been and Wags gets all panicky. If the RR deal has been pulled, you will not get the RR no matter how you pay.

For the last few weeks, a lot of signs have been weird at my store, so something has been going on with printing. With the Unilever deal a week or two ago, it was spend X, get Y RR (I forget the numbers). All of the signs were printed as though you only had buy one item. As in: Skippy Peanut Butter $2.50. Buy it and get $5 RR. Obviously that isn't right, but something is going on with the signs at Walgreens lately.

ETA: According to the folks @ SD this has now been fixed and the RR is NOT printing. Maybe someone here will chime in with their experience today.

A couple of weeks ago, one of my favorite clerks called me about a possible free item (FARR) w/ some type of cookies, as he was putting up the signage that Sun AM. He wanted me to haul my butt down there but, it a was a no go ... yeah, they had the signage, but no RR printed and it wasn't advertsed. An AM told me that they'd received a memo from corporate that morning. So, yeah, something wonky...

And I gotta say thanks PG - I have to haul my butt to that store to just say "hello" as I've pretty much dropped off the earth with them = no good sales

Bayer am free with booklet $3/1 IVC and $2/1 insert 08-01-10 RP. Shelf tags show it is $1.99 with IVC.

NM rings up at $6.99, shelf tag I saw must have already factored in the MC as well or something.
ETA: Checked the shelf tag (still up) it was an old tag from 2 weeks ago. It did say $4.99 - $3 IVC.

Well if you didn't know there were print coupons for nivea out there, you could have got it cheaper...

I did the deal twice in 1 transaction

-$4 MQ (print) says $4 off any 2 nivea body products

=7.98 for 6 body washes makes them 1.33 each

ACTUALLY I first bought 3 of the Dial body washes using my $1 print coupons, making them free after RR, and i used 3 of those RR to pay for the Nivea and a few other sale items, so that makes 9 body washes total for 7.98, essentially making them 89 cents each

then i don't know if it was just my store, but because i checked out in cosmetics Friday night, she said there was a drawing Saturday morning for an extra 15% off purchase Saturday AND Sunday.. so crossing my fingers my phone rings!
