My store will let you get several of a item and even pay in different tansactions at one time but then again I have never clean off the shelf doing that unless I got the last 2 or 3 of something in that one trip.. I dont think 2 or 3 is a bad number to buy in one trip and get RR for the product that makes it free in the end but I do often buy 5 to 10 of one item at walmart but they dont give me RR thats makes them free, and I am not buying at either store to resell, dont get me wrong I think that anyone has the right to resell their stuff, its their to do so but its to much work for me to do that..what I buy is for my family and helps our pay check last longer..

I work at wags and at the start of the week I will limit my big couponers depending on what I have in stock. They understand and do just a few. Now come the end of the week they are welcome to clear off my shelves. This seems to work at my store.

I just had a bad experience and wags this week too. I'm not shopping at my regular stores because I'm visiting my parents for two weeks and didn't want to miss out on the deals. First, the manager wouldn't let me use both of my coupons ($4/2 7 BOGO) for the BW then my RR didn't print for the razor, or the contact solution and I had to fight to get them...in the end I had to send in my receipt, to corp to get the RR. We'll see if they actually come... anyone ever had that happen before (needing to send them to corp)? I've had them not print before and they would just go into their system and print them again...

All these stories remind me why I rarely shop at Wags. It seems every time I go there I have some sort of problem. Usually items are out of stock or stuck in some out of the way place where you'd never think to look. And even after wandering around the store, the employee just looks at you and walks by. If you chase long enough you can finally get one trapped in a corner where they have to answer!
Today, I found the items I wanted but check out was a hassle. I did three transactions and had worked them out very carefully so I would have the proper number of coupons and items. But on all but the first one she told me it wouldn't work. And both times I had to tell her to just try it, if it didn't work okay. Both times she looked surprised when the register accepted the coupons.
Then I wanted of the Bic lighters for candles or fireplaces. Since they were behind the counter I had to ask. First she grabbed a pack of regular cigarette lighters, I said I don't want those. She rang them up anyway. I had to ask her to take them off and she told me what a great deal they were at only $1.49, was I sure I didn't want them. After I insisted she took them off. Then she grabbed two of the longer lighters. Three times I told her I only want ONE. I finally gave up, it was my last transaction and I was just too tired to argue anymore.
So I guess my revenge is ranting here. And declaring I won't shop at Wags anymore, no matter what deals they have that week. CVS is more convienent anyways and certainly more coupon friendly.

That stinks so bad. I just posted about my wags bad experience. I don't get it...at wags its like the management trains their cashiers to be super rude. They act like they are the keepers of the gate on all coupon matters! I had to go to multiple wags just for someone to take a printed coupon. It really stinks that they treat customers like criminals!

Actually the math does work out. They have a customer that probably spends thousands of dollars with them every month. If they pay with q's & rr's or with cash it all works out in the end for the store. Most stores give the "big spenders" special treatment to keep them shopping at that store. If they sell three cart loads of stuff to one person or to 300 people it is the same money in the end to them... Unless you have a total creep as a manager most Walgreens will order in the item you want that is out of stock - or give you a rain check. I just got a rain check last week on the crackers that were two for a dollar. Give it a try!!
