Re: Yet Another Bad Walgreens Experience All these stories remind me why I rarely shop at Wags. It seems every time I go there I have some sort of problem. Usually items are out of stock or stuck in some out of the way place where you'd never think to look. And even after wandering around the store, the employee just looks at you and walks by. If you chase long enough you can finally get one trapped in a corner where they have to answer!
Today, I found the items I wanted but check out was a hassle. I did three transactions and had worked them out very carefully so I would have the proper number of coupons and items. But on all but the first one she told me it wouldn't work. And both times I had to tell her to just try it, if it didn't work okay. Both times she looked surprised when the register accepted the coupons.
Then I wanted of the Bic lighters for candles or fireplaces. Since they were behind the counter I had to ask. First she grabbed a pack of regular cigarette lighters, I said I don't want those. She rang them up anyway. I had to ask her to take them off and she told me what a great deal they were at only $1.49, was I sure I didn't want them. After I insisted she took them off. Then she grabbed two of the longer lighters. Three times I told her I only want ONE. I finally gave up, it was my last transaction and I was just too tired to argue anymore.
So I guess my revenge is ranting here. And declaring I won't shop at Wags anymore, no matter what deals they have that week. CVS is more convienent anyways and certainly more coupon friendly. |
