    QUESTION Mfr Q and IVC?

I just wanted to clarify what types of coupons you can combine. I'm fairly new and want to minimize as many issues as I can.

I know you can use RRs (I'm talking about $$ OYNO, not for a specific item) with a mfr Q. I thought you can use any Walgreens coupon with a mfr Q (provided the total doesn't exceed the item cost & you don't have more coupons than items), but a cashier told me otherwise. Now I know cashiers and stores vary in what they will and will not do, but I just want to know what generally is allowed.

I thought you can use a mfr Q and an IVC or a Walgreens Q from their weekly ad for the same item. Today, I was specifically trying to use the $3/1 Infusium from May All You and the $2/1 Infusium May IFC. The cashier told me that I couldn't use both because both were Manufacturer coupons. Now, the IVC does say manufacturer coupon at the bottom but it starts with a 0, and I'm assuming it doesn't need to be turned in. She wouldn't even try to scan it. I can see because it does say mfr coupon on the bottom and just want to make sure I wasn't cheated and at the same time, wasn't trying to do anything wrong! Thanks in advance for you help!

I'd think it'd be up to the store manager. I have always used the IVC's and the MQ's together if neither has a stipulation that it can't be used in conjunction with any other coupon.

I did the exact deal you're referring to with no problems, so I'd say just wait and go when another cashier is on duty.

the 5/9 AD states "Look for more savings in sunday coupons"

Take the ad in and SHOW HER.

they are expecting you to use the coupon

Ugh. I dislike cashiers who can't follow simple rules:sad:

You can use a MQ with Walgreens Qs. There are those rare times when an IVC is programmed weird and you'll need a filler to use both. But, there is nothing wrong with using both.
Also, a RR is considered a MQ, so if you want to use a RR + a MQ, you will need a filler item.

So it IS policy to accept both Qs? I have just recently ran into this problem at my local WAGS. The store manager has apparently informed all of the cashiers NOT to take a MQ stacked w/ the WAGS IVC. (I live in a small town with only one WAGS so trying another store isn't an option for me.) I am wondering should I try to call corporate about this store not accepting both Qs or am I just out of luck? Any advice on what to do would be appreciated. Thanks!
