I can't seem to figure this out. If I buy five Chex Mix and use two $1.00/2 and one $.50/1 can I also use a RR since I'll have five items and a total of four coupons including the RR or do the $x/2 count as two? Thanks!

I always give the RR FIRST to make sure it attaches to 1 item and then the x/1 MQ and the x/2 or any coupon good for 2 or more, LAST followed by any WAGc, if any. This has always worked for me w/o having to buy fillers. Hope it works for you. In case it doesn't, just grab a .05 or .10 candy by the register as filler :)

There are 2 types of RR for Walgreens. There are manufacturer prompted RR and Walgreens prompted RR. If it says "manufacturer coupon" on the top then that's why the register isn't allowing it on top of the other coups. You can use 1 manufacturer coupon per item so if you bought 5 items and you have two $1/2 that attaches to four items and then the .50 coup is attached to the other item totalling 5. So if you buy any price item, even if it's for a penny, it will then allow the next manufacturer coup as long as you don't go over the total $$$ before tax.
Walgreens does have a policy that if it's a Walgreens prompted RR, and it will say "store coupon" on the top, that has to be the last coupon scanned. Somewhere in the fine print it says "after all other coupons and discounts have been taken" or something to that affect. Flyer coupons don't affect manufacturer coupons so that should never affect whether a RR or other manufacturer coupon is taken. Sometimes the date for a RR is for the next week or for a different packaging of a product and that's why the RR doesn't go through. Sorry for the long post, I'm just trying to help clarify. When in doubt have them call a manager. We are well versed in coupons and we are supposed to help as much as we can. Sometimes we can figure out a way to make a coupon go through a cashier doesn't know how to do. Hopefully you find helpful managers because most of us truly want to help.

I have never seen a "policy" that states that Walgreens prompted RR has to be the last coupon scanned..........sounds to me like a store policy........or a district policy......we don't have that policy in My Store

I used to work there and my husband works there now, I've never heard about that. When cashiering I would scan all store coupons first then either register rewards or MQ depending mostly on what order things where handed to me.

Just make sure you are over with tax.We don't have a way to see what tax is before. It doesn't print till after you pay.If the cashier scans the register reward and it beeps, then that means you probably arn't over with tax.If she just totally refuses to scan it,then ask for a manager.I work at wags for the last 7 years and am tired of hearing about cashiers being snotty about it.Its their job! and we get our money back on all coupons an rr's so I don't know why they care so much! Just ask for a manager

I filled a script yesterday that cost me $118, no insurance. I only get sick about every two years though:) When I got home and opened the package the prescription printout said "you could save $38 if you join our prescription savings club. Ask if you qualify.

Is it possible to get a refund from this current prescription? Or am I SOL?

I think it refers to the RX savings card where you pay $20 for annual single membership or $35 for family membership.

regarding the refund on the RX you've already bought, I don't think it applies to past purchases. You will only get the discounts once your card is activated.

for more details, check the WAG website or ask your friendly pharmacy tech. HTH.

    Probs using piggyback wyb's?

On two different occasions, I've tried to use "piggyback" wyb q's at Wags and the register will not accept them. Once was a $1 off soda wyb 3 Kraft (Mac & Cheese), another was ziploc bags b2g1. I was using a $1/1 mqs and 1/2 ivc on the Mac & Cheeses and $1/2 mq and maybe an ivc on the ziploc (can't remember about that detail). Correct number of items vs q's purchased, but register wouldn't allow the piggyback mq's. Have used them successfully at other places like Wally World & Target, but always had issues @ Wags. Anybody else had this happen? Is it register programming?

It's a WAG programming issue. They program their computers/registers to attach to multiple items for these Qs. When that's the case, we can't use multiples, even if it's the correct use of Qs and it works at other stores.
