That makes sense. A $1/2 that attaches to 2 items counts as 2 coupons. As long as the in-ad coupons don't count, I should be good. Thanks!

for some reason, the in-ad coupons always count as '1' piece of paper for me and I have to prepare for that.

But I have found a perfect filler, in our area the Wed local newspaper carries the SS insert from the Sunday before, and the paper only costs 50 cents. Makes for a great filler that gives me back great potential in coupons savings

I have heard reports that in some areas the in ad coupons can cause problems. But, for the most part and in most areas, they are not a problem. Make sure that you use the manufacturer coupon first and you should be good to go.

Instant Value Coupon - they come out every month in a booklet, and they should be in or near the rack where they put out the ad flyer. They are store coupons.

Yes, IVCs are Instant Value Coupons, what Wags calls their store coupons. They have them in a monthly book in the racks by the weekly ad. They also can be found in the weekly ad itself and in various other booklets, magazines and flyers that Walgreens puts out.

Are we allowed to trade or auction off expired RR?

Default Question: Gillette

Hello,

Today I went to walgreens to buy Gillette Proglide razor and cashier denied to accept $4.00 manufacture coupon and walgreens RR ($5). So the razor cost me $6.49. So Can any one please explain me how should I use it next time? Thank you.

When you purchased the razor, did you have an extra item (filler) with your purchase as well? As it looks like you were attempting to purchase one item, but use two MQs. If you'd added a smaller filler (ie manilla envies @ .59 this week), you should've been fine.

As well - I'm not sure of what that store's policy is regarding MQs/RRs - as there is a store that I avoid because mgmt has set a policy of ONE MQ/RR per transaction.

As well #2 I'm not sure where the 5 RR came from - was that a PG RR? if so, that could've been why it was denied as well, as if you'd used a PG RR to pay for another PG item, a RR might not come out & maybe the clerk was trying to be helpful to you.

Hope this weeks and wasn't too confusing.
