covergirl is bogo 50% off this week. will the clearance items ring up bogo price? thanks

I haven't tried the Cover Girl this week, but in the last week or so, another brand was on sale bogo, and I found clearance in my shade- BOGO came off at the end. Watch as it scans, if it says BGLP next to the price, it will take off the correct amount at the end. HTH.

I found select mascara on clearance weeks ago and when CG went BOGO sale, they also rang up BGLP.

awesome thanks. i didnt get covergirl coupons in my p&g inserts but have 6 1.00/any coupons hanging around
our store had mascara for 2.69 so i plan on stocking up!!!

Where do you find the mega savers for the month? I know each store is different. I thought there was a running post.

MegaSavers should be chain-wide. There is no actual list, we just try to post them as we find them. There is a list of monthly RR promotions, though. Monthly RR promos 5/30-6/26

I have had several frustrating experiences at Walgreens trying to figure out the coupon + RR to items purchased ratio. I thought I finally had it figured out until I ran into another roadblock this morning. I tried to purchase 4 bags of hershey's candy and used one coupon for $1/3 Hershey's and 3 RR for $2. Cashier told me I couldn't use them all because the coupon for the Hershey's counted as 3 coupons because you had to purchase 3 items to use it. Has anyone run into this before? I thought I was good because I had 4 items and 4 physical coupons but apparently not. I get so frustrated shopping here (and don't know why I keep doing it...) because of this policy and also the policy that if you use a RR to pay for an item that is the same amount as the one you expect to get you won't get the RR even though it's for a different product / manufacturer. I told the cashier (nicely) that I have more trouble at Walgreens than anywhere else because of these limitations and she said the other stores just must not be doing it right / following the rules. Hmmm....I don't think so.

occaisionally a coupon will be coded to actually count as multiple coupons...but it's rare...and I've never had a Cashier turn one down...more we couldn't get the register to work KWIM. Sounds like an ill informed Cashier to me...if nothing...you grab 2 little fillers and problem solved.
