My WAGS has Soft Scrub on sale BOGO this week. I got a BOGO MR Q from Soft Scrub's Webpage (if you join the Soft Scrub Club, a member exclusive). Can I use the BOGO Q with the sale to get them both free?

I'm pretty new to WAGS shopping.

YMMV on that....some stores will allow it, while others won't

Ok, so I thought I knew all the ins and outs of shopping at Wags, but yesterday I had 2 orders. In both of them I had 2 Kotex U and a .39 bag of candy. For each I also had 2 Kotex U qs and a $5rr from Schick. The first transaction went through, no problems. The second one also went through without a hitch BUT the cashier refused to give me the $3rr the second time saying he could only give one per customer. I politely-as-I-could told him to show me where it was stated. He told me that it said it at the bottom (which it didn't) and then huffily said I could have them both, just this time. I checked the ad when I got home and it states "Limit one coupon printed per offer" which got me thinking...who is right here?

That wording just means that only one RR will print for each promotion, per transaction. If they refuse to give you a RR that prints, ask to speak with the Manager. Sounds like someone needs a little more training...then again, it could be that the Manager trained his/her employees to say that. If that's that's the case, I hope you have another store nearby, because I wouldn't shop there, especially if you want to do multiple transactions or buy more than one of any promotional item.

Hello everyone I am fairly new to couponing!

Tonight at my local WAGS I was buying 2 U Kotex/$7, used 2, $1 off Kotex, and in the same order bought EOS Shaving cream. I got 2, $3 RR"S back and then I wanted to make a new purchase to buy 3 Ravina Pantyhose using my just generated RR's and the manager said I couldn't use my RR's because it is meant for my next shopping trip like when I come back later in the week. Then he rudely said, "How many cp's do you have?!!!" I replied, "Why are you being so rude to me?" He said, "Because you people with these cp's hold up the line." There was no one behind me and mind you this was at 9pm and they close soon. I told him he's acting like a jackass. I only had 2 cp's and 3 items!!

So someone please tell me if you can use your freshly generated RR's from a previous purchase two minutes ago and start a new transaction and use a RR's? I already know or think I know that I can't use a RR's on an item that generates a new RR's so that's not what I'm asking.

Also, this was an AS. Manager treating a fellow cpner bad. Does anybody on here get harassed just for trying to save a couple of bucks from stores?

Do you think I should make a complaint? And to who do I make one?

Sorry so long! Thanks!

Although the AM made rude statements that were uncalled for, I'm sorry to say that if you told him he was acting like a JA, you've lost your case. I know it is water under the bridge but if you stayed calm and just asked politely where it says that you can only use RRs you earned on your next VISIT instead of next purchase/order/transaction, then the ball is in his court to show proof. But since you retaliated with equal rudeness and name calling, I don't think your future shopping trips at THIS store will be pleasant especially if that same AM sees you. It may be best to look for another branch to shop for the meantime. I've read of many cases where customers may WIN at corp level BUT they say their shopping trips always had issues that made them quit shopping there eventually.

as to making a complaint, I suggest you talk to the SM instead of going straight to corp. It will save you time to go straight to him/her. Just be aware that the AM may have given his version of the story complete with the name calling. FWIW, make sure you are calm when you talk to the SM, it yields better results when one is calm and polite while stressing their point.

Good luck!

I am still pretty new to couponing and if Walgreens was the only store to shop at with coupons, I would probably quit! It seems like there is always something wrong with the transaction when I go. Tonight, around 9:00 pm, I visited the Walgreens about a mile from my house. I purchased 2 Old Spice body wash (used BIGI coupon), 2 U by Kotex liners (used 2 $1 coupons), 3 Scotch tape rolls (used Walgreens 7-day coupon) and a few more odds and ends. I definitely had more items than coupons. My problem is that I didn't receive either of the RR's that was advertised - $4.49 on body wash and $2 on U products. Is that because I used coupons for those products with RR's? If so, where does it say that you will not receive RR's if you use coupons. Is that a corporate deal or does each store determine policy? BTW, I did ask the cashier about it and he (clueless 15-16 year old boy) had no clue. I asked to speak to a manager and he said she was not there??? I really want to understand this so that I will know what's going on; however, my concern is that everyone makes their own rules and I will never know policy because it isn't standard. Any advice? :shrug7:

Each store has a right to set guidelines for their store. There is a corp policy in place, but again Store Managers have the say in their stores.
So sometimes it is a (your manager/mileage May vary) type thing.

But yes you can use coupons and receive the RR's although some store employees will tell you different. Problem was probably with their machine, either offline, out of paper or something. Go back to the store with your receipt in hand and talk to a store manager and explain what happened. Some will rering it and some will give you the form to mail after your RR.

Are you shopping at the Walgreens right across from the McDonald's near the old fairgrounds in Concord -- because if you are, I'm gonna go ahead and apologize for that store. I'm an employee at the store in Monroe, and it is SO difficult to go in there and even get my discount.

There's a "stated" coupon policy, but one hasn't really be written yet. Your register rewards should have printed. You can use a manuf. q with something that prints a register reward, as long as it is not the register reward from doing the same deal earlier.

HTH. You're more than welcome to bring your coupons to the store in Monroe. We're coupon friendly.
