Ok, if someone could clear up some confusion for me for my last couple visits to WAG. The RR that I should be getting are not printing. Here is an example of my last purchase:
    Purchased:
    2 Tilex (2$ RR )
    Stay Free Pads (3$ RR)
    Other "filler items"
    Used
    Manufactor Q's
    4$RR sponsored by P&G
    I recieved
RR Stay Free Pads, however I did not get the one for the Tilex? I asked the manager why I did not recieve the RR and he told me that if you bought the same product on your previous order then you could not recieve one from this order- however I bought completly different items the previous visit. So does it matter what you buy based on the product (ie deoderant or pads) or is it based on the company (sponsored by) and if it is the latter, how do I see what company that the RR is coming from? Is it posted somewhere on the product?
I'm just trying to figure this out, any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

Hi. first post here, and my head just exploded.

Soo, I used the BOGO today on the old spice. I also got 4x$5.00 RR on the Gillette shaving kits. I still have some BOGOs for the body washes. So could I use my RRs to pay for the BOGOs, as long as I make my transaction more than $5.00?

    Thank you,

It has been my experience that using a RR from the same manufacturer (Gillette and Old Spice are both P&G products) won't work, the RR's will beep and won't be accepted

Those Gillette RR's will have to be used on a non- Proctor and Gamble product.

QUESTION rollovers? is that whats its called?

Yesterday at walgreens I was attempting to purchase 5 trial sized degree deoderants with 5 $1/1 coupons. As my cashier was ringing me up he told me that the last coupon wasn't working. I don't think he knew what he was talking about but he told me that because the deoderants were already 99 cents I needed another one to rollover the extra penny. But contradicting what he said he still took 4 of my coupons so I ended up getting 4 deoderants...so where did that last penny go? Could someone explain to my how this works? The same thing happened when I tried to get 2 reach flosses. I ended up only getting one with one coupon.

Oh and to better explain I tried to use the extra deoderant and floss in a seperate transaction but even then it didn't take my coupons for them (there were other items in my second transaction besides just the two of the topic)

    Thank you in advance!

Walgreens is supposed to take off the overage amount on the coupon. So if the product is 98 cents..and the coupon is $1.00 they take 2 cents off the coupon and give you the product for free.

IMO Walgreens is not the place to try and use coupons for trial/travel unless there is another deal attached to it. Not worth the hassle since you won't get overage.

    Thumbs Down Walgreens Right Guard

Walgreens - I had one coupon for the B1G1 Right Guard and Walgreens had it on sale B1G1, according to what I've read, I thought it should have been free, but I paid $2.50. Manager said this was correct. What did I do wrong? Please help. Just started couponing and am now a bit frustrated.

well when i did mine the other day, i ended up coming out of pocket 50 cents. they had it marked 2/4.99 and the coupon value was up to 4.49 so i had to pay the difference. i didn't have time discuss it with the cashier because my daughter was crying and i was trying to get out of the store. I'm not sure why you ended up paying 2.50. did you get two bottles of body wash? Did you get the specified right guard product as stated in the ad?? my WAGS had two different right guard washes but the one that was the Total DEfense 5

I did get the right ones and the price was marked 2/4.99, the manager said that the coupon makes them both 1/2 price and I'd have tp pay for one. I got a raincheck from another Walgreens so I will try a different store. Thank you for your help.

If the register showed them as $2.50 and $2.50 then he is correct...the coupon is only going to take $2.50 off if they go by what the register says.

Usually at WAGS the BOGO ring up as full price, full price and then at the bottom the second one's price comes off...but every once in a while it does what happened to you.

Not sure it will help to go to another WAGS or not. Have you checked the weekly thread to see if anyone else is noticing it?
