They handed me a copied piece of paper that said something along the lines of 'this isnt coded yet... mail this in with your info' and it looks like something didnt get done on either colgates (or Walgreens) side.
Very surprised no one mentioned this yet... Did I miss something? First time things went that 'off' for me - kwim?
Same thing happened to me this morning. The assistant manager was going to re-ring the transaction manually and was in the process of doing so when someone obviously higher up the food chain walked by and went all Mr. Grumpypants about it. Very annoying because I just got back to couponing, we're nearly out of toothpaste, I'd been holding out for free, and had planned to do this deal several times this week.
Which kind of Colgate did you get? I picked up one of the Colgate Total types and received the RR no problem. Maybe it's just the particular one that you bought?
It was the Sensitive kind. There was a RR tag on the shelf, and the cashier said it definitely should have printed, that NONE of the Colgate RRs have been printing.
Sometimes I wonder if the lack of RR printing is somehow related to the store... I remember back awhile ago, the tooth things (wooden) weren't printing the RRs & I'd overheard the managers talking about not keying in some products... then again, the Colgate FARR is national this week, right? I'm in Small Ad land and it was in my ad...
