I always do the manu and then the IVC and for instance for us..the sense and spray only worked with the manu and the IVC if I had some kind of filler.

We've had several IVCs work like that recently, needing a filler. It's a royal pain, but I guess if we want the deals, we have to be prepared for that. It would be nice to be able to predict which ones will do that, though. LOL

As an employee of Walgreens, I'll let you know how you trick the system to accept your MFR and the IVC coupons for one item:

You MUST have the cashier scan your MFR coupon FIRST, then have them scan the IVC or WAG in store coupon. By doing this, the system will accept both coupons. Make sure though that you separate out your MFR and IVC coupons, and hand the MFRs to the cashier first. Otherwise, she will scan the WAG coupons first. That's what they are trained to do.

And there is a walgreens coupon policy available in a different part of this foum as well if you need a copy.

The manager at my Wag told me that regardless of the type of coupon used I have to have equal or more items than coupons. Example: I bought 2 bags of Easter candy, IVC $1/2 and I had 2 coupons for $.50/1; I had to purchase something else because the register beeped on the 2nd mq, I added a pair of clippers that was right at the register and tried again and it took all coupons no problem.

I'm not experienced enough to know if that's how it always is, a ymmv thing, or just however the register feels like behaving that day.

Thanks for your input. However, we (HCW) don't encourage "tricking the system" in any way. We'd love to play by WAG's rules. They just need to let us know what they are and be consistent about those rules.

I'd love to see a copy of a WAG coupon policy. We have some Q & A from questions sent to Corporate in our FAQ thread, but I've always been told that there is no formal coupon policy.

They need to scan the IVC last.
