QUESTION Walgreens: Is this new (ivc books )just at the register?

I have been to 2 Walgreens and both of them had the ivc book at the register.
They used to have them by the flier and so I could take as many as I needed.
Now since they are at the register and there is only like 1-3 of them .I feel strange taking more than 1 .
I would have liked to gotten more to get the sense and spray deal .
( I have like 5 coupons and could get them for .99 cents )
Am I just paranoid or ?

Just wondering why they are limiting putting them out more

I have seen them both at the register and by the ads in my stores.

When you use an IVC you do not need to cut it out and give it to the cashier. The cashier will scan the coupon in the book and it will attach to as many items as you have. For example, if the item were $1/1 and you bought six of them the IVC will take off $6. I usually take a couple and keep one in my binder and one in my purse and use the same ones all month long.

That's a very good idea! Except it is just easier not to have to pull the book out But if I cut out all the coupons I can ask for it back I suppose when I use it.

And it almost seems like they expect you to do what you're doing, as coupons on printed back to back, a different coupon on the front and one on the back as well for a different product. Would be kind of wasteful to have to use up two books for the same piece of paper because of different coupons.

Mine are next to the sale ads, but I never need to take more than one because I just use a sticky note over and over to mark the coupons I'll be using during that trip instead of cutting them out of the book. Saves paper and time for me.

I only need one because I never cut them out. My reasoning is that if I don't cut them out, they won't insist on scanning them first. I just hand the cashier my MQs and RRs. Then when those are scanned, I give them the IVC booklet and they either scan or punch in the code.
I don't like wasting my time arguing with a cashier about not scanning the IVC last, so I don't even give them the option.
I do sometimes grab a second one about mid-month because the stores in this area tend to run out later in the month. This is just in case a good deal comes along and I have someone insist on keeping the IVC for some odd reason.

My stores have the booklets in several places throughout the store-- mainly on the endcaps. I hadn't yet used any IVC's from the new style of booklets until the other day. So when I went to get 3 Sense & Sprays, I grabbed three of the Q's just in case. The discount for all three came off with the first IVC just like the old ones used to. So you can just grab one booklet. ;) HTH!
