Walgreens: Free purex liquid 2/28-3/6/10 only! YMMV

I had the same cashier (BA) who checked us out on Sunday afternoon, tell me that I couldn't use the BOGO Q on the BOGO sale yesterday. She then appeared to start to write $2.99 on my Q. I told her not to dare write on my Q, I'll use it elsewhere, and to remove the Purex from my order. Are you kiddin' me? Pay for Purex when I can go down the street and get it for free. Ummmmmm, no. I'd rather let my last Q expire than to PAY for something that's suppose to be free after Q. (I stocked up at Kroger anyway, so only tried using 2 BOGOs at WAG this week.)

My wonderful Walgreens has special ordered 52 of them for me. They are supposed to be in today. Keeping my fingers crossed. A lifetime supply!

My lovely Walgreens ordered 80 of them for me on Monday and I had received them today They never question the Q at all this is the most coupon friendly store there is.

i only have three qs i want to use. oh my its going to be a hectic day tomorrow. between trying to find a white dress and white shoes for a beach wedding i am attending (everyone has to waer white) i will be stopping to each wag to see if they have anymore purex...

I just wanted to add that if the store manager of my difficult store had responded with a "no" then I was going to say "So I guess I can't pay credit or check for the bogo Purex deal either? It has to be cash? Because a coupon is exactly the same as a credit card or check, I am promising that you will receive money later in exchange for the form of payment I am giving you, only the coupon states the money comes from the manufacturer and not from me."

I got the call that mine came in today. 42 bottles for 7.55. The manager that ordered them for me also rang me out and loaded them in the car. Going to write a great letter to corp. He was awesome!

I got 34 bottles and still have 3 q's left. Debating to find another walgreens since i cleaned out all 4 stores closest to me. Only had issues at two but provided the email response on the thread with ref # and a copy of coupon policy and they let me use them. That is enough laundry detergent to last me almost 2 yrs!

i just called a bunch of walgreens in my area, i hardly shop there because none are coupon friendly and of course, i cannot use this coupon. i called corporate and the woman over the phone said there is no set q policy, that each store can decide their own and to call the stores to ask. oh well.
