dead deal Walgreens - AirWick 50% off started Saturday!

I went into Walgreens this afternoon and noticed the Airwick was already marked 50% starting Feb 13th on the sign. The Mini & the Freshmatic Compact I motion were $3.99. The $4.00 off coupon worked on both. This saved me a trip on Sunday!

Ok, just so you know, I tried to run 2 of the Airwick at one time and the first coupon worked fine, but the second one beeped. Luckily the girl knew something was wrong and manually put the second one through without a problem. (I had this same problem with the $2 on 2 Nabisco earlier this week. Anyway I did this 3 times....If you don't have someone nice enough to do this, you will have to add a filler for the penny difference if you do them one at a time. :shrug7:

Same thing happen with me on the 3rd Airwick coupon, cashier manually entered it. Funny thing is I had fillers but it still beeped.

it beeps because of the way the Wags registers are programmed. They are programmed to accept coupons up to the value of the 'coupon' product. So your total value of Airwick products was higher than $4 (the value of the first coupon) but not higher than $8 (which was the added value of both coupons). Fillers won't help b/c it goes by the actual product on the coupon (so in this case, Airwick). A good cashier will push it through as it's a valid use of the coupon, but many will deny it.

I went today and had 4 coupons, and accidentally brought up 5 Airwicks! When I realized that I had 1 too many, I had them take one off (after all coupons were rang in) I had no beeps, no troubles :) :)
