Walgreens - Rx Transfer deals??

are there any current ones out there? I see other pharmacies doing this and was just wondering!

I've only gotten ONE transfer Q from WAG in the last five or so years. I guess they figure if they're on every corner, they don't really need to advertise? They don't accept competitor's transfer Qs either. Sorry.

I have gotten a few of them as wrap arounds to the regular ad. I haven't seen any lately, though.

Not for Walgreens, but I found a little booklet/pamphlet at Kmart with 4 $25 transfer coupons in it. (x041110 if memory serves)

If you have a transferred Rx from another pharmacy, not a WAGS, you can get a transfer check. But only once per 6 months, and not for persons on government sponsored insurance plans (i.e. tricare, medicaid, medicare, etc.) Its all in the fine print on the transfer check. If you receive one in the mail, the government sponsored exclusion still applies.

Ask the store manager (unless they're mean...). The manager at my local store gave me a brochure last month for $25 when you transfer a script. Now if I could only FIND it. :duh:

I hope it's not expired. But he had them hiding in the office.

Thanks so much. I don't need regular prescriptions and always seem to need emergency ones right after my coupons expire. I had never thought about just asking the manager.
