    Default Walgreens: Blink/Zicam = No RR's?

    I just went to Wags tonight and got a package of Blink Eye drops. Then used a $7 RR from Zicam and no RR??

    Not realizing that the first RR didn't print, I moved on to buy Zicam with a Bink RR. Again no RR's printed. :sad:

    Am I doomed? Have I messed myself up? I sent an email to the catalina company, but Zicam is owned by Matrix and Blink by AMO. Ahhh! It's so confusing.

    The RRs should have printed. Apparently, something was wrong with the Catalina machine. Do you know if the green light was on? Also, depending upon what time you completed your transactions, the store could have been some uploading of info into their register system and Catalina system, and it could have affected the RR printing.
    You could have spoken with the SM and see if s/he can help you by re-ringing the items to see if a RR would print. Since you already e-mailed Catalina, it's probably a good idea to wait for their reply.

    Yeah, I'm fine with waiting for a resolution. It was just a couple minutes after midnight so now I'm almost certain it was doing some uploading. And I could have asked for a manager or voided my transactions, but she was so sweet and it was really crowded. I didn't want to be a pain for her. It wasn't until later I realized what it was that I was really missing and then panic set in.

    Thank you so much for the 411!! I was worried Blink and Zicam were remotely related through some shady conspiracy-theory inspiring big corporation. LOL If it should have worked, I'm sure catalina will take care of it. They've already sent me an email asking for more info.

    Yes, it does sound like there was a problem with the machine. Sometimes I have had luck having a transaction rerung at a different register.

    From what I have been hearing, it seems like Catalina has gotten pretty quick about mailing out their replacement RRs lately. Hope you get them soon.
