All MQs start with a "5" and have redemption instructions on them. Wags can claim these are MQs all they want, but they are not MQs
    Incorrect. See above post.

I tried to use the theraflu coupon in the diabetic magazine and it just flat out wouldn't scan...it kept saying item not found. It was the exact item that was pictured. The cashier said it was because I already used another coupon on it so they cleared everything and started fresh but guess what, it still didn't work. Does anyone have any idea why? It did this at 3 different wags in the same city, but at my reg wags that I usually go to it worked just fine..

Some of those Qs (in the D&Y and the Activity book) are programmed or coded weird. Did you only buy Theraflu and use a MQ for each one then the IVC? If so, you can add a filler item (not attached to a MQ) and it should work.

BUT that is how we couponers define it.
That is only your opinion, and I disagree with you on the issue. Let's leave it at that.

The OP is only asking the question in order to ascertain whether or not these IVC coupons may be stacked with mfr coupons at the store. Since the debate about whether or not IVC's are true manufacturer's coupons does not answer that question, let's just focus on how these coupons are allowed to be used in the store as per Walgreens policy.
We do agree that it is a YMMV on the store level, and is left to the discretion of the store manager since there is no clear cut and consistent corporate directive on the matter. So basically folks, if you store manager allows it, you may stack these booklet IVC coupons along with manufacturer's coupons. If your store Manager does not allow it, then you can't.

Exactly. Wags corp. leaves it to the store manager to decide whether these types of IVCs can be used with manufacturer coupons. I have called them in the past about this issue and they said that it was fine if the store manager allowed it.

If you are having problems with your store, talk to the manager first. If you are having problems getting them to scan, use the IVC last.
