Walgreens-Are they weeding out RR's?

Is walgreens trying to weed otu the RR program? I looked throgh the whole ad and there were only $56 worth or rr's advertised and no free after rr's! Some of the stuff they want you to buy is pretty expensive just to get a low rr? At least there is some good stuff on sale. What do you guys think?

Lots of the monthly deals aren't advertised in each week's ad. Just like any store, there will be slower weeks. Don't give up on WAG.

They are still doing the Pepsi/gatorade RR (with the good price of pepsi) this week. I have more RR's now than normal because of it LOL

If it makes you feel any better, I shop at Wags all the time and still have yet to receive a RR LOL Everytime I see a good deal, I have no money. So hopefully next month I'll have enough saved up to get a RR, even if it's only $1...I just want to say that I own one LMAO.

I personally think that they give crappy RR deals after a week of good ones, because you only have a week or so to use your RR from the previous week. The pepsi deal was a good one and left you with a $10RR to spend, so they don't want to give you a super good deal to combine it with.

Yep. It's part of the game.
CVS is the same way. Good weeks followed by bad weeks - making you spend on things you don't need so you don't lose the RR/ECB.
They really don't want you to roll indefinitely.

I've noticed the sales that *I* am interested in and consider good pretty much do not exist in Dec and Jan. And just like last year I finally see towards the end of January things picking back up on the items *I* need. Last week I used one flippin q and skipped Wags altogether. I actually just bought everything at the Evil Empire and thought I was in some sort of time warp from before I started couponing rofl. But things are picking back up it seems sale-wise. I hope so; I see one more Theraflu/Nyquil deal I might have to hurt someone LOL

Yes, traditionally sales are not as good in December/January. I hope that the 31st ad is a sign of good things to come. :)
