HELP Walgreens - Newbie here, advice and help please :)

Hello,

I did some shopping at Walgreens last night and did the Pepsi deal so I have $10 RR to use now. Please advise on how I can get going with this with little oop. Everytime I go there I try and minimzed my oop and spend too much...LOL

I have just started saving my coupons and starting this weekend will start buying 3 early edition Sunday papers.

I just want help on getting that $10 RR to start rolling now so I can get in on the game.

Right now, you can roll the pepsi RR into the Vicks one. In the last P&G there were coupons for 2/1 Dayquil or Nyquil. It is on sale for $5. Also , if you buy $20 you get back a $10 RR. So buy 4 use your $10 RR , and 4 of the 2/1, (you would also need to buy a filler=some small cheap item because at Walgreens you have to have the same amount of items as coupons and the RR counts as a coupon) You would pay a little over $2 plus tax and get back a $10 RR. Hope that helps.

I actually did the Vicks transaction first and put that on my Flexible Spending at work. Then used the Vicks with the Pepsi. Again, I only have 1 set of coupons going back to December. So starting this weekend am buying multiple papers :) Just looking for ideas for my Pepsi 10RR now.

Here's how I'm rolling my $10 from the Pepsi deal:

1 Theraflu (Sugar Free) $3.99
1 Lipton Tea $2.99
2 Neosporin Lip Health 2/$8
2 Scope Outlast Mouthwashes 2/$7
______________________________
Total $21.98
- $2.00 Theraflu IP (you can print these from coupons.com)
- $2.00 Theraflu Walgreens Q (pick up the Diabetes and You magazine in the pharmacy section...they are free and usually in a magazine rack. There is a coupon book attached to the magazine)
-$3.00 Neosporin Lip Health IP (check the database for this one)
-$3.00 Neosporin Lip Health IP
-$.75 Scope MQ from the P&G a couple weeks back (you can use 2 if you have it, but I only had one)
___________________________________
$11.23
-$10 RR
_________
$1.23 oop and you will earn back a $4 RR, $3.00, and a $2.00.

Remember to hand you MQs before you hand the Walgreens Q from the Diabetes and You book.

You could then use the $3.00 RR to buy another Theraflu and Tea your total after coupons would be $2.98, so pick up a cheap filler (like a Valentine pencil) and you will get a $4 RR back.

HTH, let me know if you have any questions.
