HELP Walgreens - Contour/Breeze Meter No RR

OK, so this is a little late in asking,,,but what did I do wrong in this scenario.

When everyone was using the free meter coupons and buying 1 contour & 1 breeze...and the RRs printing were $5, $5, and $3 ..... (Late December)

I bought 1 of each and got nothing.

I used 2 coupons, bought 2 items, and paid $0 -- and no RRs

Did I need to purchase other items in this order?

Please help. THis is bugging me.

When did you purchase the meters? I bought several last week... most of the time buying (2) on one transaction and always got the RRs for them (5,5,3). Did you buy the meter with the bonus attached to it? if so, I remember reading that the RR wasn't going to print on that one.

I hope that when the RR didn't print - you told them to do a refund and got the q back so that you/we could figure out what was going on.

This was supposed to be a monthly deal.

As fare as I know it was still working.
You can go back and talk to someone or I think there is a RR # you can call...Don't know it off hand but if you do a search for Register Reward # you might be able to find it.

I will look too!

It worked for me tonight. There might have been a problem with the Catalina machine. Your coupon usage and products purchased were fine and shouldn't have interfered in any way.

The email I received when I asked why I didn't get the RR...

I am writing this email to inform you that your transaction unfortunately did not qualify for either of the $5 Register Reward promotions for the Bayer Breeze and Bayer Contour meters. This is because of the $14.99 manufacturer's coupon that was used for both of these products during your purchase, and because the promotions have been set up by the manufacturer and/or retailer to not trigger a new $5 Register Reward coupon if these coupons were used to purchase the items.



And the Follow Up Email....

Unfortunately, this particular promotion at the time of your purchase was set up to prevent additional coupons from printing if other coupons were used during the purchase of those particular items. The conditions for these promotions were set by the manufacturer and/or retailer, and not by Catalina Marketing.

Thanks for helping me realize that there was just something wrong w/ the machine. I thought maybe I needed to buy something else in the order. I thought the same thing---everyone else is getting the RRs. My purchase was on 12/30/09.

I had given up on this situation after the emails I received from Catalina--but then I got an email from Catalina saying that they were wrong and they requested my information to mail me the RRs.
