Walgreens - Free Aquafresh? Can anyone confirm?

I've read that the 5.4 oz Aquafresh in the box, pictured on the in-ad $2 off coupon, is ringing up at $1.99(regular price on shelf) and the coupon is auto adjusting to $1.99. Anyone else have this price?

The picture of both types on coupon is for advanced Aquafresh and today when I looked, shelf price was $3.49 and $3.79 and above. so not free unless it rings at a different price, but I didn't know to ask for price check.

The coupon shows advanced, but the in ad coupon states "aquafresh toothpaste 4.3-6oz

The ONLY toothpaste that fits this is what's in the picture and the one with the clear box with orange....(this is on clearence FYI for 3.19)


The regular auqafresh (bigger box) IS 1.99 (at the store i went to) but it IS 8oz. So IMO if the coupon was used on the regular aquafresh ( aqua color box) whoever discovered the deal, didn't read the fine print on the coupon.

Hmm.. Yea i grabbed one of each that was there and the only one that rang up at the store i went to was the 8oz box.

Maybe ymmv? anyone else seen it??
