Walgreens 1/31 - 2/06 (ad scan)

One of my stores is now doing the 1 of each rr at a time only. Meaning I can't do 3 transactions of 3 meters. So I have 3 stores in my town and I had $78.00 in RRs left so I'm doing 2 transactions in each store, paying under $1.00 and then tax for each transaction and when I get done I'll have $114.00 in RRs. I am only buying 1 of each of the FARR items. I'm doing 2 transactions at each store just so I can use some of the RRs from the first on the second. That is if each store has all the items, but I did this last week too and I really liked it. Easier to keep track of and I'm not a shelf clearer. I even have 1 more store nearby that I could extend to if I want.

I did check out one of our stores yesterday to check on stock and I couldn't find the vitamin lip stuff? Anyone know where they usually keep that? Also they didn't have any of the 16 ct Advil PM..... and no Contour meters. I hope the other stores aren't in the same shape.

The vitamin lip stuff is a new item......it is suppose to go in a reset on the front register......check there, or look on the overheads above the asprin/cough cold products....... or ask where it is, it could be in the stock room somewhere

Thanks Irishlass. Of course I will ask, but I go in right when our store opens and there are usually only a couple people working and they are usually very busy. I know some here talk about doing the deals on Saturday night - is that just at 24 hour stores after midnight? If not do all stores have the deals programmed Sat night or is it YMMV?

I'm only going to do 1 of each of the meters, but my closest store only had 2 of the Bayer ones and also only had 3 boxes of the Joint Juice (I'm not going to use the BOGO and will only be buying 1) so I'm wondering if people might snap them up before I even go in on Sunday....

I'm sure that Walgreens will do Rainchecks for the items, but they won't raincheck the RRs right?

I saw the Vitamin lip stuff just yesterday as I was checking out. They were in a box on the counter at the front register.

I saw the lip stuff on the cosmetics counter at my store, actually the cashier pointed it out and told me that it was going to be "free" next week lol

Thanks for the Advil Advice,,, I was hoping I could use my Coupons, but I know some stores gave me BS on this before, Stating its the 31 today so its NO good today.

So I just try not to ever go that close to a date, but this a deal I been waiting for !!!

I saw in the ad scan that Post Shredded Wheat is $1 per box.... If you go to www.postnatural.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can sign up for a newsletter. After you sign up, you will get an email with a link to a $2 coupon.

My coupon printed "Save $2.00 on any One (1) box of Post Shredded Wheat, Grape Nuts or Raisin Bran" -- it didn't have a pic of the "Advantage" type that I thought I was getting the coupon for, instead it has a pic of the original box (like what is on sale at Walgreens this coming week). So, this coupon should be able to be used on the shredded wheat at Walgreens. The coupon can only be printed one time per computer/email address.

Just a Mod note: YMMV on being allowed to use the $2 IP on a $1 box of shredded wheat due to overage and the SM/cashier freaking out. If you have a difficult store, get 2 boxes for free and use one coupon.

The coupon can only be printed one time per computer/email address.

I don't know how or why but I just printed 10 (yes, 10!) of this coupon from one computer and it doesn't look like I have reached my limit!!:hectic1:

When will stores start printing the RR's for this ad? Is it different for 24 hour stores? THanks!
