Walgreens - Aveeno, Lubriderm etc… BOGO Rang Up Free Instead of 50%

OK.....might be silly question, but.....as the stuff is rang up, can you tell if it is going to be B1G1Free, or B1G1 ½ off just by watching the register price screen???

Mine all rang up full price, and then when the cashier totalled it, the credits for 50% off showed up on the price screen one right after the other.

You know what I found out about that almay deal last time...the beauty counter rang Bogo 50 and the registers up front rang true bogo...

No, not in my area. I almost always ring up at the beauty counter, and all my purchases for the Almay were B1G1 free. Hope it works for me tomorrow!

to help us out: please post atleast a STATE where your trying this. So that way people aren't running out in areas already tried.

I actually had the guy up front do a price check because I wanted to make sure the Aveeno baby lotion was part of the deal because the baby stuff wasn't marked with the BOGO tags. He said yes and I thought I saw -$5.49 on the 2nd one but didn't realize that's what was going on until I reviewed looked at the receipt.
When I finally checked out I wasn't paying attention but based on the price check I'm assuming the free ones rang up when they were scanning, not that he checker noticed. I plan on having them do another price check tomorrow to make sure it still works.

Not bogo in AL. Charged full price on the crt
and at bottom where coupons are
- it only took off 50 % (instead of 100%)

and
not all my clean and clear did the 50%.
Only 2 of the 6 did on one crt.
Was probably the already reduced orange tag ones.

Will have to get that fixed this week.

Checked out both in cosmetics and the front registers

This is the most frustrating part! It rings BGLP with the price so there is no way for you (or the cashier) to know until it's totaled. Mine did as PP mentioned. Rang up full price until the cashier totaled it up, and then they all came off at the end. Very confusing transaction. :shrug7:
